Bill Gates can't afford to buy his own 599 GTO

FYI Mircosoft pays me...zero...for the shoot. i was told...and i confirmed it is their policy not to pay...what I get is a credit on the X-Box insert. That is one reason why Bill G. is so rich.

 

I'm sure it was sad to see the Italia gone so soon.

What do you think of the GTO now that you've had it for some time?

Will we see it at Cavallino?

 

GTO looks AMAZING!! Maybe I'll see you poppin around in it when I visit my gf's parents.

 

Miss the 458 a little...GTO is still a "gas" every time I get into it...Enzo is a yes....599 GTO not sure.

 

Had a lot of fun with the "shoot"...My cars will be shown in less than a year.

I assume the shoot is for the next Forza? Rich, you should at least ask them for a free XBox console and the game when it comes out.

 

This Sunday I am going to the First Annual Italian Car Show which will take place at Angelina's Italian Restaurant in Staten Island. I will bring my 599 GTO and Enzo. I may bring the 16M. A dear friend is putting the show together and a bunch of my friends from the Staten Island area are attending with their cars. I look forward to spending time with this great group of guys. Let me know if you will be there this Sunday and I will look for you to say hello.

 

Wow sounds like a nice show . I live very close to S.I. but won't return from Italia until Monday.

A good turn out and a lot of fun.

 

It is my pleasure putting a smile on your face...It is me who thanks you for helping me complete my promise to myself when I was in my late teens. The owners of the vettes ,jags,etc. did not want to talk or show me their cars. They had an "air" about them that they were special and I was not....I promised myself that if I ever acquired these cars I would be someone who "shares" them with others. Hard work and good luck got me my cars. Now I can complete my promise....I consider myself a showoff who shares and I look forward to putting smiles on many more faces at future car shows.

Correct! I have done some work with Microsoft in the past. They are notoriously cheap.

Hope you are doing well. I was just wondering if you had planned to order, or did place an order with Ferrari for the 'SA Aperta'. I know they are only building about 80 of them, and wondered if one of the US allocations was going to be heading to your garage...hope all is well
