Hi all.. I recently purchased these from the uk and they were sold to me as genuine 355 mats.. They came in ferrari wrapping and looked the real deal.. However when i took them out and tried to fit them in my RHD Australian 355 Spyder i found that the mats fitted but the eyelets in the carpet were in the wrong place!!! Furthermore they werent a good fit and needed massaging.. And the uk ones had an extra extension on the drivers carpet near the handbrake.. Both the pass and drivers carpets were the same... Only 1 eyelet fitted into the male part of the floor and in each case it was the eyelet closest to the doors on both sides that went into the carpet but the eyelets closest to the console did not.. I have included a photo... Are these gts carpets ? Berlinetta.. Whats the solution now? I have the male parts from ricambi.. should i relocate the male pins in the floor to suit? Do they drill out? Hi, The genuine mats should have a Cavallino embossed into the rubber section, all Spider mats also have the extra section by the handbrake! You can drill out the eyelet clips, should be a pop rivit holding them? Regards, Phil.
