X-OST broken

Maybe you just nned someone to reweld it for you. Have you asked gothspeed or FBB? They have the equipment and the skills, I believe. Bring the car down here, we can remove the system and get it welded in the same day, then reinstall, I am thinking. It is unacceptable that the manufacturer does not step in to make it right.

I’d buy it right now. Open it up, turn it into a “Race” version with less packing/baffling.

 

Eleven year old thread, and the OP hasn't been here in almost three years...I wouldn't get your hopes up for a response.

 

I have not seen Kai in ages. I am not sure if he even owns that white 348 anymore. And X-ost products suck.

 

My 348 has a goth muffler (and test pipes), and just split the can at one of the seams. I just hit it with the mig and put it back on.

really? i have X-OST on my 550 and its been on my car since PO owned for the past 12 years over 20k miles on it and it sounds fantastic! Best exhaust sound for 550 hands down. Anyways company is out of business and this is an OLD OLD Thread

 

For whatever reason, I thought this was for a 355. Nevermind . Just looking around old threads to see what’s out there. For whatever it’s worth, X-OST on my 355 is 10 years old and still going.
