While I used to think white would be a perfect color it's not anymore. When it came out during the 348 era it was something special on the Challenge Car and it rolled over to the F355 Challenge for the mid to late 90's. Fast forward to 2010 and the 17 year old design still looks good in it's own element. But, when compared to what is going around today like the return of gold rims on the F430 Suderia and the platinum color on the 2010 Porsche GT2 RS the white seems out of place. For todays acceptance the correct color might be silver. At least that is would I would choose, not to blend in with today but, to remain current and not stand out as much.

    Ciao,

    SRR

Depends on what color the car is.

If it's white, I think all the colors that have been mentioned would work.

Ive looked at so many colors on the challenge wheels but white still has something to it especially on a red 355. I dont mind jets silver wheels either, if the price was right. :)

White wheels looked horrible on my white 348.

Too late on those. Now I am trying to buy a car to put the wheels on. My priorities are often a bit backwards.

Paid real money for them. I know what it costs to Properly refinish these as I had them done the first time. A standard silver they are not.

Folks waiting for the "New Speedline" offerings... good luck with that. They have been saying they are 'near' for all of 6 yrs now.

Sorry, but the car is not mine. I do agree though, they look fantastic.

My vote is for the silver rims. Followed by the gold.
I don't really care for the white ones.

All I know is that speedlines - in any color - are the one bit of kit that my 355 doesn't have. Someday I will need to remedy that....
