BJ sells lots of cars for more than they are "worth". Look what it costs to utilize BJ services AND no reserve to boot. Just saying.....everybody isn't necessarily looking for the "best deal". Some will pay a premium for a truly nice car. IMHO that said, I am going to phone a few guys who are advertising their cars in the registry and see what they have to say. I appreciate all of your responses.....and yes, I purchase the magazine all the time - I just love cars.....I keep the mag on the coffee tables.

I receive the Register for free - It is great car porn - I skim through the photos each month and throw it away.

I also use to buy the DR RE mag and some of those homes from the 80's are cheaper today than they were in the 80's. But 5 years ago were A LOT more.

VERY high end magazine with uber spendy cars for sale. You'll see it in the magazine
rack at your local Safeway or Borders. I sometimes buy it before flying just to have
a bunch of pretty car pictures to read about.

Same here. It worked well during the pre web explosion days. I got international exposure and interest. Sold Lambo via DR. Would not use it in 2010.

Eventually print will be gone completely. IMO Heff should get while the getting is good.

FWIW, I bought my 308 from an ad in the Dupont Registry. Thats where I found it, then I went and checked the car out in person, and bought it.

I used to buy DR as a kid just to drool over the cars. Was recently offered a free copy and declined. Who needs a magazine when you have the internet?!
