The date of the "Ten years of Spyker" event has moved to Saturday afternoon on October 9.

The nice thing is that Victor Muller (CEO Spyker and Chairman of Saab) himself is also attending.

The venue is in the Catskills, please PM me if you want to attend. Lunch will be provided.

I'd be interested in thoughts on that- I just read a road test and the car starts at $50K, weighs 4,400 pounds and looks like loads of cheap plastic on the dashboard. The exterior styling doesn't look bad...by the time you get it out the door it's probably $60K- way too much for what it is in my opinion, and 0-60 in about 7 seconds so lacking in power given the weight and price class.

Maybe by the mid-generation update they can fix it, but I wouldn't buy one at this point- they can get it to be an interesting car with some key tweaks in my opinion to be a premium and different offering to BMW/Benz/Audi/Lexus, but they are not there with what this car is at this point.

Who knows, in person maybe it's much more likable...I think I'll keep my old 5-series for a long time as none of the newer european sedans interest me much (none that are under $90K anyway-ha!)

Boy, the lighter interior colors really make the quilted texture pop! Maybe even too much for my taste -- but that's just me. Note the 3 vs. 4 spoke steering wheels....
