These are Coupé Speciales built for an important customer - like 0853GT, not prototypes. They had already locked on a new design and 0851GT was the prototype. Best wishes, Kare
Did a huge update this evening. Over 100 new photos added. 65 cars now found. http://web.me.com/djaffrey/Boano/Home.html Darren.
Ok so here is my contribution... I too can say that a 250 GT BoanoType: 508B - 128B engine: 0543 GT Chassis: 0543 GT was the first Classic Ferrari to get me hooked. Here she is when it was at my colleagues dealership. http://gentryla.u28.nozonenet.com/gen_site/56_boano/ferrari_56_boano.htm I had the pleasure of going to Meadowbrook (04 or 05) with them when it went on display there. I have pics somewhere if you guys wanna see? I know there on here somewhere too. This car was sold at an RM auction shorly after and I believe it went to Symbolic if I am not mistaken.
Is is me, or does the side view of this car appear as if it has no rear brakes? Otherwise, you can just feel the cold fog of this day while they are taking these shots. Very evocative. George
This thread is coming to life---I love it. Here is 0429GT at the recent Dana Point concours. Well, I've tried twice to attach a pic and no longer see that option; what am I doing wrong?
still missing in your register: 0465GT - not my pics Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Site updated with these. Just how beautiful is 0465/GT. 71 of 114 (can anyone confirm that is the correct total production run of both Boano and Ellena's) now found... Darren
http://www.flickr.com/photos/horacechi/5072323595/ no idea about s/n... P.S. Looks like 0643GT repainted.
There seems to be quite a few buttons and switches that vary from car to car.....does anyone know what each do or are designed to do?
Can someone lead clarification to the differences between front seats, rear cargo area, center tunnel, trunk areas, etc.... They all seem to vary so much... ANY and ALL vintage photo's are SO INTERESTING.........
Daren, you may use the pictures the pictures I posted in post #19 of 0861GT. The interior shot may be a good thing to capture. -F
Sorry, I don't have the S/N of this beauty, but someone will know. Taken at L.A. Concours, 2009. (My "manage attachments" button has magically reappeared). Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
