every day I wake up...without an alarm..at exactly 7:13, for weeks in a row now, never 7:12 or 7:14, always the same time to the minute, with no external reason (outside noise etc..).

I know this is fascinating for you guys, but it seems very unlikely and I have to wonder about the biology of it.

Every single day I will look at the clock at exactly 4:20. Sometimes both AM and PM. I will wake up, look over and it will be 4:20 AM.

My pot head friends say its a sign I need to smoke weed.

I do that all the time. My alarm is set for 5:55. Many times I will wake up and look at the clock and it is 5:54.

    Happens to me too.

Regardless, on the weekends I almost always wake up within 15-30 minutes of the time my alarm goes off Mon-Fri. The crappy thing is, sometimes I can go back to sleep, sometimes not.

When my alarm goes off I usually just curse at it and stumble around for ten minutes until my vision actually starts working correctly. I definitely can't read the time at 5AM.

I wake up in a 30 min frame everyday, but I know the reason.

The sun shines through my window right onto my bed and the heat/light wakes me up.

What we need is a catchy name for this so that we can market a drug to prevent it. "Premature arousal syndrome"

I cannot remember the last time I did not wake up just a few minutes before my alarm was set to go off. Doesnt matter what time I set my alarm for. It's like there's another alarm in my head set for 3 minutes before whatever I set my phone for. Weird.

Common thing from most folks over 35 that I know (I'm 49). I ALWAYS wake up
a few minutes before the alarm pretty much no matter what time it's set for - I travel
a lot and get up really early for flights - always before the alarm. I think it's
just "responsibility conditioning" - my business would suffer greatly if I missed those
flights - so I just NEVER miss the alarm.

    Who knows.... brains are weird.

I think this too. I mostly get up at 6 a.m.. On the 1 day a week I have to get up at 5 a.m. I wake up right before. Maybe to avoid the shock of a hard rock tune from my station of choice? I'm a morning person in general & don't mind driving to work at sunrise. Refreshing.

I used to have a dog that would jump on my bed and lick my face at exactly the same time every morning. I was absolutely amazed by the fact that it was within 1-2 minutes of the same time every day.
