I have an unhealthy obsession with all things Prada. What got this started was back in 2000 I started to make an insane amount of money and I obviously met some new friends. One weekend when we went down to San Diego to go clubbing I borrowed a friend's Prada shirt.

It fit so perfectly that the next day I went down to Sak's for the first time and bought a pair of black Prada pants and a black Prada long-sleeve shirt. Everything fit me perfectly and their designs are very Euro, but understated;I prefer understated class. For instance, I needed a duffel-type weekender and garment bag. I chose simple black ballistic nylon by Prada over the ubiquitously tacky and ugly Louis Vuiton monogram that pervades society (many fake).

I always thought Coulthard's jaw made him look like a super hero. When I saw him in Monaco in a Superman suit, I just thought it was apropos.

Took pic below with my reflection and thought it would make a good avatar. Had to get rid of a pesky date stamp in the lower right corner. More pics of Euro Fest found here.

    New avatar.

My best friend and myself went hiking in CO this summer. We are very adventurous so we decided to take the path less traveled which turned out to be far far more than we bargained for. We took a left at one point because it look like a good idea. As we went to the left we walked right by a sign that had fallen on the ground and we didn't bother to even glance at it.

We proceeded to go up the mountain on that path. It turned out to be one of the scariest things I've ever done. I won't even explain what we had to go through but here is the sign.

I had to go down for my Uncles funeral in Upland and decided since the wife was in Tahoe with a friend that I would head down and have some fun all weekend. I decided I wanted to stay in Hollywood and just have some fun taking pics and see the nightlife that while growing up in So-Cal I never got to see but only 1 time.

    Here's the full info -

Left my house at Midnight Friday/Saturday.
All Amped up on Red Bull
Drove down the 99 Freeway onto I-5 and went straight down to Irvine. Yes it was Saturday morning and you So-Cal guys know where I was went. I had never been to Cars & Coffee. So why the heck not. I was alone and wanted to do some things that if my wife was with me would not have probably happened.
After leaving there I decided to head up the 405 to wherever I decided to stop.
So I parked it in Santa Monica at a grage and had breakfast at Mickey D's.
Then I walked to Open Air Mall.
After that I headed down Santa Monica Blvd. I stopped at a couple places and then realized it was getting late and headed to Hollywood to find a place to stay. Found Somewhere around the corner from the Kodak Theater and got ready and went to the funeral.
Afterwards, all my Brothers, Parent, Cousins, Aunts and Uncles didn't ask me if I wanted to go do anything afterwards. So I thought, Holy ****!!! I'll just go back to the hotel and see what to do.
I got off the freeway and while driving by The Music Box at The Fonda I saw that Rancid was playing. I figured right then that I would come back and see if I could get in. Well it wasn't sold out, So I did.
Afterwards I decided to just walk around for a bit. I ended up being up from 11 PM Friday Night until 1 AM on Sunday Morning.
I woke up at 7:30 AM. Got ready and figured I would drive around until I figured out what to do.
I headed north over the hill and eneded up at Universal Studios City Walk. Got coffee at Starbucks and chilled for about 30 minutes until shops started to open up. I ended up at the end by the entrance of the park and saw The Saddle Ranch. So I decided to have breakfast and decide what to do after that.
GUESS WHERE I STAY UNTIL 6 PM.
After talking to the guy next to me and the Hot Bartender, I just stayed there. After the guy next to me left, an older (way older) couple sat next to me and we just chatted. Some of the stuff the lady was telling was very cool classic hollywood stuff. She's been there since she was a little girl and was always with her mother who used to go to a lot of the old Hollywood parties. Great stuff to hear.
After I left there I just drove around for a while.
After dark I decided I wanted to get shots of as many Neon signs as I could.
I ended up stopping at Hustlers just to see what all was in there (besides PORN). There was this Very Tall Black guy in a suit there. I didn't know who he was so I didn't care what he was buying. I then realized he was driven in the big Black Cadillac Escalade I parked buy. I figured he was a Basketball player, but really didn't care. I walked out and found a parking ticket on the car. I didn't turn the wheels toward the curb. Whatever!
After that I kept driving around taking pics. Ended up going to bed late even though I knew I had to get up early to head home.

So to finish off the story, I had a great weekend without anybody keeping me from doing anything I wanted to do. It was a blast!

When I first joined it was a pic of the sheild since I didn't own a Ferrari.

Then it was a pic of the 360 I bought.

Then it was a pic Peter (BigP1202) took of the 360.

I changed it the other day to my current one because I'm disturbed by the drastic left turn the USofA is taking. I left Canada as I felt it was becoming too socialist, only to arrive in the USofA to Obama (great timing!).

I'm sure it will be back to the 360 sooner or later...

    Mine's pretty obvious.

As a kid, I was a big fan of the rat pack and the Dean Martin show. So were my family (all Italian Americans of course).

Then, my first Ferrari was a 246 Dino gt.

So, for me, the choice of the original "Dino" being my avatar was pretty clear.
