355 has 97 votes!! Are we the most active members, or is this really the best looking v8 Ferrari ever? I vote the latter. My bad, bad girl:

    just another 5 cents

there were LOTS more 355's produced than 348's
so there are more owners of 355's which will vote for there cars

so that means the 348 is the original and best

While I agree that many parts (including sheet metal) are shared it is in fact quite different.

I am not trying to start a 348 V 355 war but the doors, front facsia, hood (vents for HVAC), rear bonnet, bumper and tail light panel are much smoother and sleeker on the F355. All those combined make for a prettier car.................IMHO.

To your second post, I know 348 owners that would still vote F355 in this poll.

The other thing is that the F355's whole engine bay is neater and tiddier than the 348.

To each his own... as they say. When I was looking, it was between a 348 and a 355. I loved the extra performance and sixth gear in the 355, but for me the looks of the 348 (inside and outside) and the more raw driving experience of the 348 is what won out in the end. I'm one of those odd people who really likes the door strakes and the center console that comes all the way down the center of the passenger compartment. I'll give you 355 guys the tail lights though; no contest there. Either way, I'm totally pleased with my 348. That said, I'm sure I'd have been just as happy with a 355. They're both amazing cars.

It's hard to deny that the 355 is the best looking V-8 model, if more troublesome than our beloved 348's. Although, a certain hot looking black 348 SS beats even that car! ;)

But you really can't go wrong with either! I'm just a bit partial to the 355. It's just plain Bada$$.

When you see results on a poll like this, you can basically predict the Future, the 355 is going to be one of the most demanded classic Ferrari and collectors will pay top $ for a clean well preserved 355.
