Fall Spotters

Looks like a very tight fit for the two of you in this car....

 

Ha! I was taking the picture. That's my father-in-law driving, with his son shotgun. He's got a C4 ZR-1, so driving this one was a sort of 'bucket list' item for him. And yes, he's over 300 lbs, so a tight fit. Scored some brownie points that day. Of course, he's never offered me to drive HIS car, but that's another story...

 

Sad. Particularly if your car is the better one.

actually it IS an awesome machine. the ZR1 has it all. american made, enough power to spin the tires in second gear, nothing like a supercharged V8 with no waiting, GREAT brakes, luv the 6speed, has a warranty and not expensive to fix, can buy used for 90K and really is just a whole lot of FUN on the street. plus it does very well on a racetrack..

i wouldn't change much on it. maybe add some carbon fiber at the center console and possibly change out the seats for track days.

And it is a supercar by the 200 mph definition and it is an Enzo beater.

You rarely get more bang for your buck.

 

Today while in the car riding home from school, I saw a black Bentley Continental GT on Dempster ave. and Niles Center rd. heading west on Dempster. It was sweet!

 

Today, I went to school for a run, because we have the day off. Someone who works at the school owns an Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, but I haven't seen it for a week or two. Today, though, in the teacher parking lot, I saw a yellow car. I went over to it for a closer inspection, and saw it was a Lotus Espirit V8. I was amazed. I'm pretty sure the owner of the Lotus owns the Aston Martin, too. Amazing! I'll post pics soon.

 

Today, as I was leaving the doctor, something interesting crossed my path. I looked over, and it turned out to be a BMW M1! How awesome! No pics, though, and I am unsure of the year. For a second I thought it was an Espirit, being that I saw one earlier today. But, it wasn't. It was too big and boxy to be an Espirit. It was white and very cool. BMW only made about 450 M1's, but I am not sure how many are in the Chicago area. It was a great find, nonetheless. I am pleased. That might've been only my 2nd or 3rd spotting of one!

Blue Ferrari F430 going down Old Orchard. Stopped for gas at BP, snapped a pic. I think its the same Ferrari my friend saw.

In Skokie, I was leaving school. I saw the Maserati Biturbo S again, and a silver Skyline GTR turning right, north, onto Skokie Blvd. from Golf Rd.
