Ferrari World, the petrol head's equivalent of Alton Towers, is set to open its doors to members of the public next week. High-heeled, jet-setting, absolutely loaded Abu Dhabi-based members of the public, that is.

But that doesn't mean that us everyday gear heads can't embrace its magnificence or even enjoy the news that a theme park completely dedicated to the way of the Prancing Horse will open for business on 4 November. After all, the new Ferrari theme park features amusements such as the "V12" – a flume ride through the heart of a giant 12-cylinder engine; "Junior Grand Prix" – where kids get to race in miniature versions of Scuderia’s F1 racers; and "Fiorano GT Challenge" – a roller-coaster ride featuring duelling Ferrari 430 Spiders. Please stop drooling...

    Indeed

That might be even the real thing as the teams use it: I saw an identical one from RB in a segment on Speed TV

    It does look great.

Certainly is a added incentive to make the effort and go.

When asked why he didn´t allow visitors into the factory, Enzo Ferrari said "Ferrari is not Disneyland". It seems that times has changed.

Anyway, he would probably aproove this: Formula 1 is a very expensive business and money is always welcome.

That was at a time when he paid his F1 racing team by selling street cars. Today things are very different.

Funny he should have said that with the Mickey Mouse construction quality for a while there.
