If that were true, Red Bull or McLaren would be leading the WDC at the moment. So clearly it's not true. We both know there are no team orders at either team. It's "inconvenient" to acknowledge this, however, because it makes Ferrari look worse in that context.
So.... your definition of cheating has nothing to do with the rulebook then? A novel approach to rules enforcement, I must admit.
Whoever wins the championship this year will have deserved it, because it has been closely contested, by drivers of similar hability. I hope Alonso wins; that would have been a terrific come-back. But I am sure that he has the potential to win it again another year. Same for Hamilton, given a good McLaren. Vettel is still a star in the ascent and needs to be more consistent, and less prone to mistakes. But I feel that this year is the ONLY chance for Webber to win the championship. He has benefited of many mistakes from his team mate, and was allowed to bag a few GPs thanks to a superior car and Vettel's misfortune. That opportunity may not repeat itself. I don't think Button will ever be WDC again, unless he has a superior car. But ecen in this case, Hamilton is more competitive than him.
The lack of result is no indicator. If all three teams (in theory only of course) had team orders only one could be leading at any given time. The idea that McLaren has built its team around Lewis is a given. Similarly Red Bull has shown repeatedly that their team and their marketing is built around Vettle.
Well, since the whole purpose of team orders is to artificially have one driver be further ahead than they would otherwise be, I would submit that the lack of results is the only thing that matters (in terms of proof that the teams don't use them). "team is built around" is a nebulous phrase that doesn't really mean anything but sounds damning. If McLaren was built around Lewis, how does that manifest itself in Button not having an equal chance or in Hamilton having more points than he otherwise would have? Why wasn't Button told to move over in the two instances when he finished in the points and one step ahead of Hamilton? It makes no sense to think McLaren or RBR have team orders. Team orders is not a nebulous term though... there is no doubt that Ferrari did it and Alonso benefited from it. The claims that McLaren do/did the same or that Red Bull did are just fantasy... because the alternative is distasteful, which is that Ferrari cheated where others didn't.
Again the lack of a result is no indication of intent. Were the Giants the only MLB team that tried to win this year? They were the only ones who took the series. Lewis has been part of the McLaren program since childhood. The idea that the team isn't looking to maximize its investment is a bit (do you prefer naive or disingenuous?). If you need prof of RB's Vettle bias look no farther than the wing incident. Back then they said that Vettle was given better equipment because of his commanding (12 point) lead over Webber. This when there were nine races left. If they were honest they'd be backing Webber given his lead with two races left.
Please buddy, I see you nothing worth a damn to counter me with so you stoop to posting some old cliches. It's not "hate" for Hamilton (yes he is my least favorite driver), but it's ironically more of a "love" of pushing your buttons because you fly off the handle so easily. Of course my posts are biased...and yours aren't? The second anyone says anything negative about your boy Lewis you're there in an instant, immediately offended and at his defense. It's kind of weird. I mean, **** me running for being biased towards Ferrari on Ferrarichat.com. This is your "battle of wits?" LOL.
Daaaamn.... I don't know what is more entertaining. Following the F1 season....or.......following F-chat during the F1 season? B) I just want to say, that for the last 3/4 seasons it never seased to amaze me that the McLaren fan club on here are always the ones amazed that there are Ferrari biased folks on Ferrari-chat, instead of the Ferrari crowd being amazed of the McLaren biased fans on a Ferraris based forum.
I support schumi when he was in Ferrari and even now! I do not support Alonso ! But I would like to see podium finish for massa. Mclaren for the win or red bull Vettel
You do a better job than me of contradicting your own words, thats if anyone can make sense of them. Well what can I say, you love pushing my buttons, should I be flattered, you like stalking me. Well you have answered your own question, your entertained!. You are amazed that folk have differing opinions on a world wide Ferrari forum, how strange. Tell me what is wrong with supporting your country man on a Ferrarichat site. Some examples: In what folk on here may be like: Rooting for Ferrari but not a fan of Alonso. Rooting for Ferrari and Massa, realizing now he is playing 2nd fiddle. Rooting for Ferrari and Webber, finding out he has been shafted at Redbull. Rooting for your country man even though he is not driving for your favorite team Ferrari. Rooting for Ferrari and Vettel. Rooting for Ferrari and your all time hero MS is driving for Merc. Rooting for Ferrari, and supporting any underdog or new rookie hotshot. Sometimes the stars line up for you, most times they don't, However if a big fan of Alonso and Ferrari, bingo!! That is why you get across the board view of opinions and IMO a forum which is much the better for it. If everyone agrees on everything Ferrari does and says, what a dull forum it would make.

Did not read the thread; just skimming it turned my stomach. CSB time: Long ago and far away, I drew last place in a random grid draw. Rolling start, as it was direct-drive karts. Starting last, I reckoned I could hang back a bit, get a little run, and maybe make up a place or two. Well, as it turned out, my engine came on pipe at just the right moment, and I found myself flying through the field, from last to first before turn one. I knew as it was happening that I was dead wrong, but my foot had a mind of its own and stayed flat on the throttle. I led the bulk of the first lap, but out of the last corner, I pulled over and let the field go by, and then pulled into the pits for my black flag penalty. I hadn't actually been shown the black flag, obviously, but I wanted to spare the clerk of the course the embarrassment of having to wave it at me, because the clerk of the course was my father. So after the heat, dear old demands "why did you pull in? That was a clean start!" Sweet Fanny Adams it was. Feck's sake, the announcer was shouting "false start!" from the race control booth before I ever crossed the start line. I didn't hear him, of course, but I didn't need to. He was dead right, and I knew it. So what did we learn from the show tonight, Craig? [in your pants] Dude [yes I am talking to YOU, dude] You are not objective. By all means express your opinion, but don't you EVER pretend you are objective. Because you're not. Don't make me come back in here. You will NOT like it. 8D
Come on, if you're going to go the "grammar Nazi" route at least post something that makes sense. Crazy how someone that's English has no grasp on the language... LOL. I would say it's more like someone picking on the fat kid at recess. ... You're amazed people don't like Ferrari's main rival on a Ferrari forum...even stranger. The key aspect here is rooting for FERRARI first and foremost. It's plain to see that you root for Hamilton/McLaren first and foremost so your logic is flawed here. I'm not saying everyone on here should agree, but stop getting so bitter and defensive when someone makes any disparaging comment about Hamilton. It's absurd/annoying. If you want to go be an unabated fanboy, the Planet F1 forum is not hard to find.
It is only you that has a problem, I don't mind good criticism, but your so blinded by your admitted dislike of Hamilton, your posts reflects that about him, they are laughable and amusingly ridiculous at best. Obviously you don't get it, the key here is to debate, not mindless bashing of worthy opponents of Ferrari, I get sick of that crap, yes. But there again I have stumped up my subs on here, so I find it a bit rich as you have not!, telling me to go to another forum, so either grow up or pay up and then start your spouting. You don't know me that is a fact, so back off.
