Stunning car. Bet its even more stunning in person. Be nice while breaking her in. Then drive her like the dirty girl she is. You'll both love it.
That's right. Dropped it off today for a roll bar install, putting my 6 points in and extinguisher. That's all it needs. 2k easy miles. Then hello track!
Question. Did you get the Axle-Lift on yours? Oh....... and wait till you turn TC/SC into the off position.......its a whole nother beast! Again good luck with her......... the color combo is great!
Ha ha! Probably if I go through Denver. Thanks! Yes, I got the front axle lift. Was a pricey option. I thought I would use it for trailer loading. The front lip is low, but not so low that I will use it on the street that often. Maybe for speed bumps.
Das ist sehr schoen. I have a 2010 GT3 in white with PCCB's and sport buckets. I started to keep the rpms below 5000 during my first 600 miles then started to gradually max out the rpm's to 8000 by the time I hit 1000 miles. Went to the track and changed the oil after 1000 miles. The engine is now broken in properly and I've put 4500 miles on it in 6 months of driving (12 track days and used up 1 set of brake pads front and 1 set rears). Tires are holding up pretty well (30% worn). Haven't really probed its limits yet-I think I'm driving about 80% of its capability. Others on track with the same car has been faster with more wear on pads and tires. Congrats and good luck withyour new RS.
Scott, I just saw this thread, congrats, brother! Well done, can't wait to see this machine. Now that I'm back in the enchanted forest of Porsche ownership I'll have to visit this section more often! Looking forward to chasing you around the track next year Chad
Most definitely! I guess I will be in way back in your rearview mirror though. All my times at Mid OH and I've never seen a CGT there. It would be epic! April 15-17 will be one of the first track weekends. Love to see you there!
