Central Asian Snow Leapard, not many in existance difficult to capture elusive. The snow leopard, uncia uncia, lives a solitary life in remote areas of 12 Central Asian countries. It has a beautiful spotted coat considered desirable by trophy hunters (unfortunetly), who may travel a long way for the chance to track the rare cat. Many livestock herders who live inside the species' range consider the snow leopard a pest—not unlike a wolf, though if they manage to trap, shoot, or poison a cat that's preying on their flocks, they can sell the pelt illegally for a veritable fortune.

For house cat, I recommend Siberian cat, less Fel D1 protein in their saliva which causes allergies or reduces it, its a dog but a cat it will fetch call its name will give you hug.

I bought these 2 Ragdolls about 2 years ago for 1k each. Supposed to be large cats w/ lap qualities. Well they grew up to be smaller with timid personalities. While I love them both with totally different dispositions I am somewhat puzzled as to why they are not more user friendly. My 18 lb street cat Redman talks to me constantly & wants to be held over my shoulder at all times. I looked at the Savannah too because I like a big cat but really wondered about whether It would want to sleep w/ me. My Ziva domestic shorthair that lived under my 240Z for a month & is as wild as they come but demands attention and is demanding & sweet in her own spunky way. You gotta love the cat.

Those are some cute cats. How did you get the first two to pose for a picture?

    Jerry, how is the kitty?

I think my biggest cat may have arthritis or something starting to kick up. He seems to not like to jump up on things the way he used to. :(

We had a vet tech that owns a 5-month-old male Serval visit to get him "acquainted" with a future girlfriend. They sniffed each other a little but the male hasn't reached puberty yet.

The second picture is our F3 female, Tess, and her litter of three males at 6-weeks.
Stephanie, you are welcome to come out and see them.

Sorry JR I missed this post.

He is doing great. Went for his 6 month checkup a couple weeks ago and is over 9 pounds. Vet says that is big for his age , which makes me happy.

Here is a few days after we brought him home and a few weeks ago.

That is pretty. Currently I am leaning toward the Savana like Jerry has.

Jerry doesn't have a Savannah. I believe that his is a Chausie.

Oh? Well, damn, I thought it was a Savannah! Well, anyway, still leaning towards a Savannah! :D

Got a two month trip coming up in the spring, so will likely pull the trigger maybe around May or June.

I just put a deposit down on a Serval from A1Savannahs.com

I recommend anyone considering a Savannah or Serval to contact them. Martin has spent dozens of hours with me and he is not your average breeder. Very easy to work with and very honest.

Any other Serval or Savannah owners on here?

Just want to share a few pics of my little monsters.

    Here is my little girl who I rescued from a parking lot 6 months ago, she's a daddy's girl;

Here she is tormenting Killa who I also rescued 6 months ago, you can tell he's very pissed off lol!

They only cost me food and frustration but if I put a price on them it would be about $5K. Sorry for the OT post Dr.
