UNBELIEVABLE!!! Porsche is definitely stepping up fit and finish on the inside, comparable with the bentleys and rolls royces in my opinion.... I was baffled on the 06 cayenne turbo "S", leather everything except for the back of the headrests LOL

After having test driven the new Cayenne turbo ... anyone else notice the steering?? The "servotronic" variable speed power assist steering that used to be a $250 option is now STANDARD. This is supposedly something designed to make low speed maneuveruing easier. IMO it provides less feel and is over assisted at any speed. After getting back into my GTS later in the day I remembered why I disliked the Servotronic steering option so much and had to find a Cayenne that didn't come equipped with it.

Well, I stand corrected. I am finishing up a full weekend with a demo Cayenne turbo and I am hooked. What an incredible machine ... head and shoulders above and beyond the prior generation. awesome - I'll be putting in my order tomorrow when I bring it back to the dealer :)

If they would do color to sample I would do the GTS Red ... they won't ... instead I am planning on returning to a color I had in past, meteor gray, and do an espresso interior (like cocoa) and PCCB's sporting the yellow calipers :)

I'd do the exterior exactly like that as well with this interior

I may opt to go with all espresso since the exterior will be meteor gray. I hope I can do contrast stitching like in the photos ... Also considering doing carbon fiber trim

The French stitch it definitely a must. I kind of like the two-tone ... But I'd need to see it in person to decide on if its right with meteor gray. Yellow brakes ++++1.

++ on that...... Our local dealer (one of US's largest...Hennessy) is all but out of the Cayenne and had a huge lot of them not all that long ago.

I had a chance to drive the new CayenneS on RoadAtlanta after Petit 2010, and it was quite nice. Especially considering none of the turbo power in it, nor the special suspension add-ons. I'd take one in a heartbeat!

The exterior on this build is jet black. My potential build is meteor gray with sport package (sport steering wheel with paddles), 21 inch turbo II wheels so I am planning to go with the brushed aluminum instead of wood

i prefer carbon fiber trim in the interior, especially if the leather is a dark color.

I like the CF trim but afraid it won't work with that interior - too busy, too much of a clash with those brown earth tones - at least, that's what most people have told me from my salesman to my wife and fellow enthusiasts

I see your point. I'd prefer the wood trim but would like to see the brushed aluminum

Sporty or not, I'm really liking that olive wood trim with that 2 tone leather package ... gotta decide soon

Do the wood. Stools to see your build out. It's exactly what I want. Hope to pull the trigger on my own in the beginning of the year.
Side bar question. How do you like your F430? I've seen so many deals on 360's lately.

not a fan of the two tone look. i feel the monochrome interior is more traditional, classy and less trendy.

Beautiful. I love the color and interior combo. Very sharp.

I have an 06 Cayenne now and I love it. Great vehicle. The new upgrades for this years model all look great, especially the new dash.

My next car will be a 2012 911 though... I hear they are finally getting the same Panamera dash update as well. :)
