Here are a few Ferrari model KITS in 1/18th scale for the very small amount of builders who like 1/18th scale KITS(almost all in Europe). They are mainly KITS from companies that are doing handbuilts of the model already. If they did these in 1/24th scale they would sell 20 times more KITS, but could not sell many of the handbuilts.

ABC, MT models along with others are doing these. One nice part is they have cheap diecasts available to use for the chassis and other parts. Several use Hotwheels diecasts as a base. Still these are not cheap kits and transkits. The prices will make you gasp considering the detail level

    Suzuki's models are mindblowing!!

There are several extremely talented builders in Asia.
Shin, Kamimura, Rosso, and Momo factory are amung the best!

I met Kamimura at the Strictly 43rd around 10 years ago. His models look even better in person. These modeling websites are a great learning tool.

The iHobby show is tomorrow near Chicago. This is the biggest plastic model/RC/train/diecast hobby show in the USA. Revell should have the new 1/24th car kits on display. Scale Motorsports has a booth and says they have some new announcements. Some diecast companies will have booths. The big diecast shows are now in Europe and Japan.

Am I allowed to post build photos of a 1/24 tamiya ferrari in here? I can't tell if this is the right thread.

Coming next from Air Trax, the Ferrari 330 GTC in 1/24th scale!!! I love this road Ferrari. He says it will be available in early 2011. Photoetch including window frames will be in the kit. I have seen some photos and the body looks very good.

    This is a must have.

Early photo of the Air Trax Ferrari 1967 330 GTC resin kit body master. They will also be doing a GTS version in 1/24th scale. More great stuff coming from this company next year.

Thought I would throw these up as they were posted on GPMA. Both are by FIOTTI of Brazil(Two Cats Modelos). The D-Type is the Lemans 1956 winner in 1/24th scale. The Ferrari 1963 F1 car is in 1/12th scale. That would be real nice even if it did not do very well.

The roof looks a bit off, lets hope they'll fix it before release.
330GTC is a must have Ferrari for me. I'm really glad that somebody finally making kits of these "unpopular" ferrari road cars.

It's an early master that still needs the front and rear window frames. Other than that the shape looks almost perfect to me in the roof area. I hope he adds the 330GTC vents as I think that looks better than the 365 GTC with no vents.

    Another photo.

Oh man...one of my all time fav's. I can't usually afford any of the resin cars, but may have to spring for this! It would be my first resin build. Any idea on cost, and if there are any other 330GTC models?

The price will be around 100 Euros, bit over or bit under, depending on how many parts there will finally be...
