Well, I may as well throw my hat in the ring. I've shown this before, but if there are any points to be given for composition, here goes. (I'm not a professional photographer). 1983 308 GTSi. I've owned it since 1984.
The machine is due for a paint job, with some very mild custom touches. The engine will be breathed upon by the folks at Carobu, and then supercharged. Suspension, brakes, and a few other odds and ends make for a most satisfying ride.
Even in its present state, it stirs the vital juices of most observers. Way more than others.

    I agree.

Clean car. Good article in Forza. I like the slight exterior modifications you have done to the car. Simple, but yet really set it off.

The 3x8's are just about the only car in the world that I love in white.

Even if you don't win - that's a fine looking car, mate! :)

me too! I have only seen a few pics of that car posted, and I always thought it was very well done and " period correct " . I have a slopenose 911, that screams *****80's car ****, and the modded 308 is from the same ( cool) era.

I thought the thread said, "you cannot vote for your own car".

Can post your own, but have to Vote for others.

I'm holding out for awhile to see what shows up, but leaning toward one of the yellow nut and bolt restoration cars. :) (My vote can be purchased however)

+1 I have to go with Newman's car with Bullfighter and Hans tied for second. That's my poll answer. The real winner is Pininfarina

there should be different classes to the voting, just like the oscars
    - best all original car
    - best modified car
    - etc.

Sounds like we are in agreement that Newman's, Bullfighter, and maybe a couple others are the final contestants and an official pole should be put up to see where the chips fall. I just can't imagine a more exhaustive restoration on a 308 has been done other than the other yellow GTB down under having similar treatment. IIRC, Newman's 308 is also the current record holder for price of a 308. For good reason too.
