Interesting. I thought it looked mostly awful from photos. When I "finally" saw 1 (3 of them together, actually) I was blown away. Beautiful car, truly.

Of course...if JC says it it must be true!!..........There is too much bias and inconsistencies in that video, I suggest you read the thread on this in the 599 section as a lot has been said on this (also suggest you read some of the write ups by the serious journalists, all of which are scattered around Fchat). The 599 GTO is Ferrari's fastest most powerful road car ever produced......if you have issues with that I suggest you call up the CEO's office at Ferrari and tell them that they are all a bunch of liars and that they will be hearing from your legal team ;)

38 for sale in FML which means there are likely more than that for sale.

Keep in mind I bought a new one from an authorized dealer for 265K which was 40K+ under msrp.

With this many for sale I very much doubt any wholesaler would pay more than 170K.

Many of these cars have been for sale for a LONG time.

Unfortunately Scott, that pricing isn't there yet. I'm afraid those trying to convince everyone that "it's ova" won't work on dealers right now. Good luck though. Maybe by spring or summer

Jim, when have Ferrari dealers and most owners used logic when determining the best time to cut their losses?

Is it worth subscribing to FML or are these the same cars that are on autotrader, cars.com, etc.

Scott- If you are going to drop $170k on a car, an FML subscription is a drop in the bucket. Some owners put their cars on FML and not in the internet sites, which tend to attract flakes and tire-kickers. Got my subscription in 1976, when they were the only show in town except the Sunday papers.

Truth in that but the larger the group of sellers the more chance of finding at least one wise one therein...

I just subscribed to FML and am looking at 430's and Scuds- they are virtually all dealer postings I have already seen elsewhere. There is 1 private party listing for a Scud and it is a 2008 priced at 214k and 1 private party listing for a 2006 F430 and is equally overpriced. Most owners seem to have an even more unrealistic asking price than the dealers.

There were a couple dealers I hadn't heard of before, so that is the only new listing info.

If terms of pricing on Scuds, I think you will find 195k for a 2008 and 205k for a 2009 far closer to realistic attainable prices. I would be surprised if anything better than 190k for a 2008 and 200k for a 2009 is even possible. An exception would be a higher mileage 2009 with 7,000 miles which I saw listed for 198k and I imagine could be had for a few grand less.

There are many for sale, but I don't see any firesales out there.
