    Hello everyone!

I recently got my 458 (grigio silverstone with black interior) and have two questions:
    - is it possible to change the menu language without visiting a service center? Car is imported from Germany and I would like the menu to be english.
    - coul anyone provide me with an english owners manual. Car came with german papers..

Btw, it's fantastic. Does anyone here drive their 458 in winter/snow?

    Thanks,
    Tomek

I found in the german maunal that there is possibility to select language on the left screen.
However when I press MENU on the left set of buttons, nothing happens. Same for VDA. Only up/down arrows work and adjust screen lighting level. Any tips?

I attach two pics of the car :)

Press the MAIN button under the LH TFT screen to bring up the 4 zone main screen. Using the circular controller bellow the LH TFT screen press the UP arrow on the controller to select the SET UP menu. Use the DOWN arrow key at the bottom of the controller to scroll to the Language setting which is the 3rd option on the list. Use the RIGHT arrow key to enter the Language mnu then use the UP and DOWN keys to scroll to find English then press the OK button with a short quick push. To exit the SET UP menu press the MAIN button.

isuk, thanks. I'm pressing the MAIN button, but it does nothing. I tried it with engine on and off. Just no reaction. Same for VDA. Only buttons that work are the arrows and OK in the middle. Guess it's broken. 300kms to the dealer :(

This is now solved. In case anyone has the same problem in the future: the MAIN button doesn't work if parking sensors are enabled. My car had parking sensors set to switch on whenever it stops, so the MAIN button never worken when stationary and I was not able to get in the menu.. You need to press the parking sensor button near the rearview mirror and then the MAIN button works.
