is there a cross reference to buy a thermocouple cheaper than a genuine ferrari one?

What year 355? I know where they are on a 95 (2.7 motronic).

 

right hand side, the one on top is the TC for Cat. The one on the bottom is TC for bypass valve.

Pulled the fuse on the old fuel pump..cranked it over until oil press. came up and it started with very little noise......thanks again for the hot tip..

One problem..... Careful what you say to Bruce. Now that you said "Super Modified" to Bruce.... we will see the wing mounted on TOP of the car. Wing goes in the back Bruce! ON THE BACK! The Snorkel goes on the roof and yes, you need fenders!

The DUAL snorkel and multi element wing on the Suzuki Pikes Peak Indy car must have you quivering, just take note of where they are mounted.

Are you changing to center seat with a luggage rack for the passenger or std. twin seating positions?

No, wrong era, McLaren's have two seats... them's the rules. I remember you cheating Panzer guys making the second seat sized where a GI Joe doll would be cramped just to get close to a center seating position. Last I tried, I still fit in the drivers seat but it would take a Cherry Picker to get either one of us bent up GFRT members in or out of any of these, cross that off the list.

Bodies were made for both of your examples just to change the class they run, look through the windshield... nothing but an IRL/Cart car with fenders and a picnic table on the back.... You have been talking to Gary and Flyboy again haven't you....Cheaters! Your 355 must use the OE chassis and basic engine, them's the rules. Don't get too worked up about that, those snorkels on the Suzuki aren't big enough to suck up anything larger than a stray Pigon. What good can they be if a full grown Mastiff cant be inhaled. Quit thinking petite, remember "Where Excess Was Barely Adequate" apply's to more that just stil's you build in the back yard.

John's out driving and enjoying his car while we sit and try to redesign the wheel, he is the smart one! Besides, what good is a perfectly good thread uless a few doorknobs come along and screw it up? Enter Flyboy and Gary to add to the mix and we can consider that a complete success.

 

Flown under the GFRT banner, they are somewhat self perpetuating thus allowing good excuses when projects drag on for decades. With none of these types of rules, Bruce and I would be expected to finish them on a timely basis, something we could only dream of.

This AM he told me to make a list and prioritize.... Are you kidding me, I'm scared Kris might find it, she would trade me in for a new model. This working for a living gets in the way of so many important projects.
