In 206 and L-serie Dinos I found "VDO" windscreen water pumps. In E-serie Dinos "Foredit Transpar Matic". Does anybody know what was fitted originally into M-serie Dinos?
My guess would be "VDO" too.
    Regards Matthias

Rob, that`s correct. The VDO pump is also in my 206 GT #00334 and L-serie #01100.
My E-serie Dinos have the Foredit pump. See picture.
The question is was the change with beginning of the M-serie, during M-serie or with E-serie?
    Regards Matthias

#05898 (May 73) had a Foredit just as in the picture. It would spin OK but not pump water, so i just swapped it for an incorrect replacement. I kept the original of course.

This thread is about the windshield washer pump, not the water pump. I suggest you start a new thread.

I had to replace my washer pump a few months ago. It certainly `looked' original to my 71 Euro GT M-Series (#01712). It is a Foredit Transpar Matic.

I assume that my E uses a "Foredit Transpar Matic".

Would someone have a photo in its location on the car?
Mine was missing, have solved the one in the L with the BMW 2002 VDO that you mention Matthias, but this one seems to be elusive.
    Any sources?

    Thank you,
    Alberto

Where the two holes are...haha! Can't you find them Alberto?

Remove the front boot plastic cowl (that covers the brake fluid reservoirs and the master brake cylinder) and it mounts to fiberglass below the brake vacuum, about in the center.

Thank you Francis, now I know.

I guess Ron had forgotten that your first Dino was built from dust.
