I'm running out of excuses and MONEY.........does GFART allow for a cardboard box mounted on a skateboard? That may be doable for me.

Sorry Dave, setting priorities isn't fun when you got the "many dreams syndrome"....would be nice to get atleast one project completely finished....then I(we) could boast of an accomplishment.

Nope, sorry. Too much cornering advantage with the solid sidewall tires.

Wheel Barrow tires on a windsurfer is well within the scope of the rules... I could send you that project. I wore out the knee brace recooping from meeting with the neighbors corral fence.

That hurt!!! My son augered one into my ribs already. We are fairly accomplished at flying them... its that landing thing we need to work on a bit more. The horses wont even go in the south pasture anymore after a few near misses with them. Quite a debris field we have started out there. A missing engine turned up while plowing that pasture a year ago.

I have a long list of things I would like to get good at..... my thumbs are automaticly disconnected from the brain when the plane is below 10 ft high.

    Gary,
I'm not sure which is more disturbing, the speed with which you posted this picture, or that you must have already had it in a file, "ready to post". Either way, we love ya man! ;)

Is Gary a team player or what?!

""get at least one project completely finished....then I(we) could boast of an accomplishment.""

Hell, I brag BIG when I leave the shop upright at the end of the day. I have lowered my "major accomplishment" bar a great deal in the last few years. The dream of self employment.... yah right! I have accomplished finding new black holes to throw good money in, I perfected that!

One has to define "Finished". I told Flyboy if I get a bent up plane I would be happy taxiing it down the dirt road with the wings removed. An accomplishment would be to dodge fence posts/pine trees and not prop strike a horse. Finished would be making it back up the driveway. The neighbor Cop thought the windsurfer was over the top when it veared off the road and into his yard.... just wait! The body is all used up but the mind is yet young and dumb.

There are forces in Nature (beyond our ability to screw up John's thread) that still defy explanation... Oz, you just proved they exist. Take a bow Gary.

Where is that Weasel DSPO? Has he been run off from here for good?

How many hours do you get in a day????? I only get 24........ with all the stuff you do, you've had to make a deal with somebody to get way more than that!!!!

Just imagine what I could come up with if Jetfixr was on here pushing the envelope!

Thats the problem. I have tried most everything with wheels, some successful, some not so. The obvious next step is something with wings and we can see how that works out. Flyboy nixed the old delaminating plywood Canard ultra light with a MC engine project I found behind a guys barn. "Naw, needs more power"... we think alike!

Once again I have been upstaged to the 24th degree. Whimps needs tires that big and where is the PADDED seat?

With the direct drive you need only run along side and jump on... yes, I ate dirt doing it the first few times but you get the hang of it fairly quickly. With the small diameter wheels, once up to speed, they have something of a Gyro feel. You will be fine with this project... Santa's coming to GA.

You've made some valid points especially the padded seat...doesn't take much to get the ole
    hemorrhoids inflammed these days.

Run along side??? Maybe if I can get both knees to work at the same time.

Direct drive and no brakes......guess I can't use it inside Wal-Mart for my handicap shopping.

As for the "gyro feel".....at 50mph I think I'd be feeling something else, like my life flashing before my eyes and a leak in my plumbing system.
