I think I will just meet you all at Brier Creek at 9am tomorrow morning and not drive up from Leith. It should be a lot of fun and we plan on freezing our butts off with the top down.

Being the Scrooge that I am, I do not have a Santa hat. If any one has a spare to loan either Amy or I, we would gladly accept. I just asked Amy if she had any Santa hats or reindeer antlers stashed away, she said she only has devil horns. Honest.

I wanted to take a moment and say "THANK YOU!" to everyone who showed up today and brought a gift. The boys and girls at the Durham Rescue Mission will have a great Christmas thanks to everyone.

We had 12 Ferrari's, 2 Lambo's including a LM002, a new Merc SLS, and someone brought thier brand new and ultra rare Porsche 911 Sport Classic...only 250 made and the only one in the United States. In total, we had ~150 cars show up and ~100 caravaned to the drop-off point with a Police escort.

Again...Thank You and I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas.

Thanks Greg and Michelle for setting this up again this year. With the incoming bad weather we still had an amazing amount of cars and lots of toys. The drive was great and the police escort is always a nice addition. I enjoyed driving behind the flashing blue police lights instead of the other way around and the food at Mambo Italiano is always great.

Good job Greg and all of you who helped. Katherine and I had a wonderful time. Where are the pictures?! I forgot my camera so I am counting on you guys. Hopefully you got a shot of that incredible caravan of beautiful cars.

Greg, if you could tweak the weather a bit and get it to 70 and sunny, I think it would be a vast improvement ;)

I'll find a way to be there next year.

Greg. the obvious tie ins are food and clothing but lots of other organizations are trying to meet those (daunting and limitless) needs. I wonder if there is a health care or wellness tie in to the toys? Another idea is to ask our generous colleagues next year to provide two gifts ...one "fun" toy and maybe another small gift that has an educational emphasis.

Keith...good idea. I also want to start earlier in the year and start tapping some local businesses, Real Estate agencies, etc.

Maybe next year instead of a single file convoy, we drive 4 wide on 540 and 2 wide on 54 and we have a National Guard Humvee escort?
