I have since returned the sensors to their original position.

I will contact the installer regarding a second set of sensors at a higher level.

'at-a Boy! Before you spend the bucks on another set of sensors, try the tennis ball/string trick. Much cheaper and 100% fool-proof. And if you don't have a spare tennis ball laying around, try something like a short piece (1 to 2") of radiator hose on the string. Anything, really, just to weigh the end of the string down.

LOL! A guy I once worked for told me that one of his former employees who used to call in with "dog ate my homework" kind of excuses, called in one morning with the excuse: "I can't get to work because the garage door shut on my car, and now I can't get the door up because it's bent, so my car's stuck partway in the garage." He thought it was another bullsh*t story, but later on that day when the guy finally came in, after he had gotten someone out there to fix the door - sure enough - big huge dings/gouges on the trunk of his car.

    So... yep, it can happen!

There's a famous movie line similar to that, right on the tip of my tongue, just can't place it at the moment. Someone, please quote it and the movie it came from so I don't drive myself crazy!!!

The only one I can come up with, which is not it I'm sure, is from "Man of LaMancha" when Sancho Ponza says "Whether the stone hits the pitcher or the pitcher hits the stone, its BAD for the pitcher." But I remember a line something like DM's. Making me nuts!!!!

    Har de har.

My Dad squished my orange tabby when I was about 10.

He mangled him with the door, but it didn't kill him.

He walked tilted to starboard for the rest of his days, after going missing for about a week after the incident.

Here you go- bought one for my wife and adjusted it for the car to be perfectly placed when the laser spot hits the center speaker on the daskboard. Car is within 2" everytime now.

Used to use tennis balls until the kids discovered it was great for batting practice.

That is truly a shame. Pets are pets --- no matter even if it's a turtle, or what have you. Sorry if my joke was in poor taste.

I do have "issues" with my neighbors' cats, though. Especially after one sneaked into my garage, jumped into an open car window (scratching the crap out of the paint on the door), and then clawed up the leather in the backseat of my Audi (thankfully, not one of the "other" cars).....that cat, and his buddies, I'm not too fond of.
