My first drive was in a Challenge Stradale because it was my dream car. I thought it was a bit loud and very low to the ground. Scared to death the whole time around the block. I then drove a stick shift 360 and ended up buying a F1 360. I've had very fast sports cars all my life. Nothing sounds and feels like a Ferrari.

My first drive was this past summer in a red f430 around a track. I still think about it everyday. It was the first time i had ever been in a Ferrari let alone drive one.

I had only taken a toyota camry around the block when i finished my 400i project i had been working on for about two years. When it was finished my mom took me for a drive in the car a had slaved on for hours upon hours... i was nervous as hell... my first priority was to make sure i was driving ok... next, to make sure nothing fell off. I will never forget that day. by the way, i am only 16 and have funded the project completely on my own.

My first ride in a Ferrari was when a close friend took me through some curvy roads in a 360 when i was 8. That what got my brain stuck on one thing, the Prancing Horse.... i will never be the same... i think i can say it has changed me for the better.

First time driving a ferrari - a rough 400i automatic. Smooth, but not that exciting. Great sounds (it had a rotten exhaust).

First time driving my own Ferrari - an 84 308 GTS from Oakville to Toronto on the QEW. Exactly what I expected on a sunny spring day, beautiful, exotic, but easy to drive too. Fun reactions from drivers of other cars. A girl in a nearby car mouthed "marry me". Her boyfriend / driver was not as amused.

First time driving my Countach - late at night after a long day at the office, driving home on unfamilliar roads in Dubai traffic in a jet black car as tall as a coffee table - exotic, deafening, terrifying and utterly addictive. Kind of like every drive since then. Even 5 years later when I know I am going for an early morning drive I cannot sleep the night before.

FWIW, I would be willing to try that first drive home in a F40 one day and report my experience back to the group, purely in the name of research.
