Anyone aware of a well maintained 97 or 98 911 turbo or c4s or a 05-07 911 cab?
You're on a roll! ! I can't point you to any, but I strongly suggest that if you can, you stick to the 993 Turbo only. Good luck!
The 993tt is '96 and '97 only in the US. I may sell mine sometime soon, but it is a driver, not a low mileage example. However, it will be priced accordingly in the mid $40's. I had a 993 na and sold it for the tt purchase. After driving for 2000 miles on a daily basis, they end up being basically the same car. The tt goes like stink, but I only do that 1% of the time with daily driving duties. I may sell it and switch back to a na 993 for daily driving duties.
Joe, have you checked PCA mart ? www.pca.org for website - not sure if you have to be a member though to read ads.
If you're not a member of PCA, you can get some sort of associate membership which is good for 4 months, IIRC. (Maybe $40?) That will allow you to access the online classified list, which is fairly active. Normally you need to own a Porsche to join PCA.
c4s has the turbo body ...without the turbo 400 hp engine narrow body carrera share the same engine 282 hp as the c4s only 1.2" wider on each side turbo-70.7' wide carrera-68.3' wide
I'll have to call my friend, he's got a 97 turbo with 11k miles. I think he wants a lot for it though....

asking $26,995 for 1996 porsche 993 with hard back sport seats/has everything strong daily driver..who else is looking
Holt has been mentioned as well as "The Mart.... how about Sloan or Truspeed? For example: http://sloancars.com/958/1997-993-turbo-s%C2%A0black-black-8414-miles/ Like blue? http://www.truspeedmotorcars.com/car_details.php?cid=1987
Guys, thanks for the input to Date. I haven't yet found something that works but still looking. What is everyone's thoughts on zenith blue?
On rennlist a few guys purchase that color blue air cooled 993 PORSCHE with hard back sport seats...painted the back of the seats to match ..color of the porsche intresting...nice touch
It has a hint of purple, but still a striking color. I'm a big fan of blue, looking for a navy/tan or navy/black one myself. A zenith 993tt pops up on ebay, west coast car, about every 2 weeks. Will try to find the link for you at least to gander at photos... Found it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1996-PORSCHE-TURBO-ZENITH-BLUE-27000-MILES-LEASE-FINCE-/150530575840?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item230c524de0 There's a mildly negative thread on Rennlist about this car/seller. Don't remember details.
I have found the people at Main Line Porsche very willing to help find cars, give them a call ask for Frank, and tell them I sent you. So far everyone I sent got what they wanted.
Thanks Morrie. I have purchased a bunch of cars from them over the years. Lee has been my contact there. They never seem to be as willing as Rosen to bargain on price, though they always have a better selection of cars...
I'm selling my '05 Carrera S but its not a cab sorry Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
997 is ~2-3 inches longer wheelbase and width, overall length is ~ 8 inches longer. curb weight is almost identical, comparing a RWD 993 to a base 997 C2. so, nope.
yah its in the Rennlist member to member classifieds. A customer (of my bike shop) threw out an offer today with 5 bikes (he has over 30) and a nice '74 Alfa GTV but thats not a done deal.
Joe, I have bought my cars from both dealers, but when it comes to used cars they seem to be able to find things for people. Not sure why but they seem to bend over pretty far for me and everyone I send over there.
