Hello all. In November I placed an online order with the Ferrari Store using one of their discount codes (use of the code was the primary reason I did not make the purchase in a brick and mortar Ferrari store). My item arrived in the wrong size. I emailed their customer service and they responded one day later with instructions to send the package back from the USA to Italy. I followed their exact procedures. I have since learned that the package has been sitting in customs in Italy for two weeks. The warehouse has not collected it or filled out the approriate forms to have it delivered.

I have emailed Ferrari Store customer service three times in the last two weeks, but have received no response whatsoever. I cannot find a telephone number on the website.

Anyone else encounter similar troubles? Anyone have a phone number from some other source? The item is a gift and time is running out.

Thanks for anything you can recommend.....

Call Ferrari S.p.A. Here's their number: +39-0536-949-111 They'll just transfer you over there as the store peeps are right there. If that's not the correct number than google around like I did. Have them hustle it out to you as time's running out. Get names and tracking numbers :)

I ordered a jacket from them last year that turned out to be a little small & tried to exchange it. To make a long story short my jacket vacationed most of the summer in Italy without me only to be returned for the same problem your having, stuck in Customs. I've decided they want me to lose a few excess American pounds & fit the jacket. I found the only way to get any response from them was live chats on their time ie early PST.
    Good Luck

I had problems as well (order placed, credit card charged) but they didn't ship anything. 2 months and no returned calls nor returned emails. Very frustrating. My problem had to do with customs: FedEx wanted me to describe what the shirts were made of and what country produced the cotton and what country sewed the shirts. When I said, I placed the order online, I have no idea which country produced the cotton, they said, "sorry, we cannot send you the shirts."

Thanks to all the posters for your suggestions. Unfortunately, the on-line "chat with a representative" function on the Ferrari Store website is not functioning. (and yes, I made sure to try it during work-day hours in Italy).

The phone number that Srfcty kindly provided is to the factory. A very kind woman there was sympathetic with my problem but informed me that she had no way to transfer me to the online store reps. (don't know if that was completely true, but she seemed sincere).

I tried one more e-mail today, this time fully translated into Italian. If I get no response, I will have to call my credit card company and report the problem and cancel the charge. How incredibly frustrating!

Ferrari,Spa, if you have reps reading this....your online store's lack of customer service and lack of repspect for customers is a black eye to the Ferrari name. I make this statement as an owner, but quite frankly, everyone - whether an owner or just an enthusiast - should be treated well by the store and staff.

She couldn't give you the number for the store people? Bogus. Just dispute with your CC. You probably don't stand much of a chance getting this resolved for the holidays.

Well, the email I sent in Italian resulted in an immediate response. However, customer service simply replied that they had not yet received the return package in their warehouse. I have now sent another email, in Italian, explaining what I had already explained several times before - that they now need to contact Italian Customs for the release of the package. I will give them the opportunity to respond again before I dispute with my credit card company.

As I have learned that I am not the only one who has experienced these problems, I will continue to document this saga here - either as a cautionary tale - or to help anyone else in my position.

My wife bought me a watch and an iPad case (currently wrapped around the iPad I'm pecking on) from the Ferrari store and it took almost 3 months to arrive and cost an extra $60 in customs fees. Big nightmare. If possible, I try to buy from national Ferrari stores. - my favorite is prancing horse on eBay (FCI in NC). They usually have lots of great stuff and ship from the US. Alternatively, I wait until I'm in the UK (I travel there about 2X a year and like the store on Regent St.). Oh yeah, and if you are buying clothes, remember we in the US are a bit porkier than Europe - buy a size bigger!

    Welcome.

Can you stop it at your credit card?

That might be the easiest way..

I see a number of people have had the same problem as I have recently experienced. I'm surprised they haven't fixed it in the last two years. I have received a watch I ordered from the online store and I need to return it because it doesn't work properly. I have sent THREE e-mails AND done an online "chat" all to no avail. The "chatter" told me I needed to get a return form from customer service. He also told me that they had indeed received my e-mails. All they have to do is e-mail the form to me, which should take all of five minutes or less. It has been a week.

Does anyone out there have a phone number for customer service? Or do you know if you can return an item bought online to a Ferrari store? I'm nearly at my wits end with these people.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi everyone,

I've also been having problems with my order. I placed it last week and was expecting it to have arrived by now, however, there seems to be no sign of my order being shipped. Based on the tracking number that was given to me, the status on the FedEx website simply says "Initiated". I've sent them 2 emails and still haven't heard from them. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I ordered a Ferrari hat and when it arrived they had stitched Ferrari upside down on the back of the hat where you adjust the size. I paid for it with Paypal and I was lucky after about a month to get my $40.00 returned as they ruled in my favor.
