Child Tether Install

Any Ideas on how to install a Child tether in a 355. I read about the Belt tether. Has anyone installed one of these. Does a whole have to be drilled, or are there wholes there already.

 

Doesn't 355 have non-smart passenger airbag? Yes = no way to car seat unless you turn off the bag which is whole nuther bunch of issues. Wait to the kid get to 80lbs instead. Plus unless you really know what you are doing your unengineered and untested anchor could just be a recipe for death. You should see the problems we have teching racecars and that technology is farly well known.

 

I think it attaches to the rear bumper, ad about 20 feet for slack and step on the gas. If their quick they should keep up for about 10 feet. JUST KIDDING, I love kids. Like the last guy said, you've got an air bag issue. Plus, if the child is so young that it's in a car seat...it doesn't know if it's in your Ferrari or your Pinto.

 

This little one knows. He gets very upset if we don't take the Ferrari. At 3 1/2 he can name his exotics when he sees them. Some he even knows the model designation. Fortunately the 348 doesn't have airbags to contend with.

What kind of seat---Child's size, etc? I was a Child Passenger Safety Seat technician for alot of years....
