I hate to tell you this, but we didn't win in Iraq. When it's all over and done, they will be aligned with Iran, and doing business with everyone but us. That's what happens when you kill over 100k civilians in a relatively small country. We helped create another Islamic fundamentalist country, who's attitude towards us isn't going to be favorable. When you look at who got the contracts to develop their oil, you won't see any or very few American based countries. Those of us who got it, understood that going to war there was stupid, and probably criminal. Go back and look at the statements used to justify the war: "the oil would pay for the war, Iraq would be aligned with us, and perhaps Israel, etc. None of that has occurred, nor will it. We just wasted 1 trillion dollars, killed a huge amount of people, hurt a very large number of US troops, and will have to pay the medical bills for those troops for decades. No Terry, we didn't win that war, not even close.

Art- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Yours is different from mine. That is why I said my opinion.

Oh, yes, photos. Will dig them up. That was a while ago.

Thanks so much for the pictures! My GM flew F-111's out of Pease AFB (for SAC I do believe). I forwarded those pictures over to him.

Rob- Affirmative. The F-111C had the longer wing of the F-111B, never produced for the Navy, and SAC FB-111A/F-111G.
Fuselages were pretty much identical except for intakes, which were simplified, and more efficient, for later aircraft.
