I watched this when it was broadcast, and i was bloody painful.

They wasted 15 minutes showing pointless footage of driving around a one of the most congested metropolis's in the world.

And what was the 1/4 mile section all about? If these buffoons are not able to get a car off the line in the wet, why should anyone listen to anything they have to say about cars, as it clear they can't drive for S**t..

    Pointless, utterly pointless.

I understand what you are saying. Most of the stuff that ends up on TV is manufactured for the audience. Half the time they also probably think what there told to do is unrealistic. But they do get the viewers, and the competing TV car shows are not that great anyway. The 3 of them do have very charismatic personalities, and if you can get your head around some of the more unbelievable scenes, then its an entertaining show.

Just watched it. What a spectular piece of road at the begining....what a spectacular shame about the really low speed limit. I really enjoyed seeing the rural USA and the more I see the more I want to do a road trip of my own oneday.

New York was also fairly interesting, just for its sheer scale.

As for the cars, was great seeing the 458 being driven fairly hard and the larking about in the SLS was entertaining.

    Overall I enjoyed it!
