Is anyone else here a "type A"? I am getting bored. I am thinking of purchacing another car. I love my 348 spider, but am leaning towards a 360 spider, prices are great, car fits me well, BUT.... Option 2 is maybe a Diablo, have always loved the looks of the car, really don't know a thing about them, other than I love the looks of them. It seems like a very impractical car for a guy who likes to drive his cars, but damb, they do look good, I said that already. So, brothers what do you think

Diablo, totally! About the same price currently, and similar maintenance costs. But true, driver's car yes, grocery getter no.

    Your decision maker should be...
Raw untamed power and head turning wow-maker = Diablo
Tame driveabilty, comfort and stealthy "oh, that's a Ferrari?" = 360

If changing gears and r gonna spend the $, might us well get a countach. Bet you will have more fun with that than a diablo (of course if you have not had one yet), in my opinion.

Wouldn't the Diablo cost a lot to maintain? I'm asking becos stories I hear of maintaining the Murcie makes the 355 look cheap. I would assume the Diablo would be the same and more, being an older car and made in lesser numbers than the Murcie.

But agree..Few cars will ever turn heads like the Diablo.

    i got diablo and countachs

key is to get a very good running car
as long as you buy a good one, just proper maintenance and the car will be very reliable

get a bad one and it will swallows money like a pit

I think the 360 is a better car overall but undoubtly the Diablo is more exotic ... when my time comes to upgrade my 348 I will look for a 360.

    difficult decision brother

I believe the 348 spider will be worth heaps more than a 360 in the future

At this point I would think that the Lambos are more depreciation resistent and the Countach is only getting more expensive. Still it's not a car for large people. If you want something really whacky, get a Superformance GT40 replicar. You wouldn't fit in a real GT40, but you will in the replicar. Used you can look for the wildest engine install, like a supercharged 5.0 liter Ford Cobra engine pumping out 500 hp.
