I'm still partial to the virgin machined aluminum in mine, but I must compliment you on the sweet look of the powder coat and your excellent photos. One of my buddies has ordered a kit and is planning to cover it with carbon fiber look overlay from Carbon Fiber Gear (about 2 square feet at $7 per SF). You set a new high standard for the photo essay. I wish I had chronicled mine with pix. Great job!

PS- Squadra Nuvolari has already changed the lock button module screw thread size issue we both had. They are now 4-40 vs 8-32 so no drilling of the part is required. I have also heard that a 355 kit is in the works if there is enough market interest.

    Merry Christmas!

Mario, thanks for the feedback. Hey, you inspired me. The broken plastic had been a sore spot for a long time so when I saw your install I had to go for it. Early Xmas gift for me :) made it easy for my wife.

Let's keep posting our ongoing improvements...

    Merry Christmas!

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Don't forget to save the old mess. I'm not sure if you saw my email suggesting that we accumulate a bunch and send it to Marinello with a very synical Thank You note written in Italian. I am happy to write the note and send the package once we have a big enough dung pile.

PS- my self selected Christmas gift from Mrs Claus will be some interesting resto mod replacement seats. Since I have a 348 Spider, I need the seat backs to articulate for clearance to the convertible top mechanism. Any ideas?

    Mario

Looks like the Squadra Nuvolari people have heard your input.

Check out the new color and pricing alternatives in the attached.

I am sure they will do whatever you like. Beautiful product, possibly the best practical upgrade I have seen for a 348 interior. Additional benefit: ends the buttons hanging up on the edges of the stock plate, which has a tendancy to warp over time.

What, no radar detector or phone charger?

SN will delete the 12V if you catch them before the production machining of the next batch. They did a delete option for my buddy's 348, but he arranged for it by purchasing his unique set in advance.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Mario,
I have a custom installed radar, I have a plug in my glove box for a GPS if needed. I just do not dig the lighter and plug so out in the open..I am trying to think of a way to hide it. decisions decisions
