I don't think I'll ever try Flying Dog again. I've had 2 of their beers before and it's just not satisfying. Schlitz tastes better.

    I like it.

A friend of mine was living in Milwaukee a few years ago and I went to visit. He insisted that we had to have a PBR out of the tap. It's even better (go figure).

It shocked me at first because he's quite picky on what he drinks.

I've had a few before but can't recall whether thumbs up or down; however, the Snake Dog IPA is a down.

    Maudite from Unibroue.

    Beautiful red color.

Flavor is nice but not too strong. A nice subtle peppery flavor and coriander finishes with a brown sugar/earthy flavor that is very nice.

    9.5/10
    Another excellent beer from Unibroue

Apparently I'm not a fan of IPAs; didn't like the Racer 5 either.

I've never had Lowenbrau but it will forever be linked in my mind with the Porsche 962

I really like Innis & Gunn oak aged:

    http://www.innisandgunn.com/thebeer_itsallinthetaste.htm

had it in an excellent restaurant in Londons Soho called Arbutus

In Stockholm there are two excellent places for a large selection of beers

Glennfiddich Warehouse: fantastic range of micro breweries and single malts

Monks Cafe: Also excellente range of rare beers. Among othjers, Sam Adams Utopia (no - I have not tried it)

I had some if this yesterday. Good beer, big beer - 10.25%

Terrapin Side Project 13, Big Daddy Vlady's Imperial Stout

    From the website:
Black as the coldest Siberian Winter’s night, this colossal, viscous beverage will bring the hammer and sickle down on your little girly man’s palate.

Went to Zea (regional chain restaurant that brews their own beer) last night and had what I thought was a good porter.
