355 leaking?

Most of the stuff that holds liquid is in the back of the car.

Take your pick.


Have it looked at before it rolls to a stop.

 

Under the engine: engine oil, coolant, remote possibility brake fluid
Under the tranny: tranny oil, clutch fluid
Under the clutch: clutch fluid, flywheel dampening grease

coolant has obvious ethelene glycol smell
dampening grease is viscus

Can you post some pics mate?

Pretty hard to diagnose a leak under a car on the internet, but if you can take some pics of where abouts the oil is under the car, then that will give us a good idea of the location of the leak and what possibly may be leaking.

You sure its not old brake fluid??

 

sounds like you might need a throwout bearing and seals....might as well do the clutch while u are in there.

If it is just dampness I would suggest you give it a good clean, take it out a few times for a drive over the next few weeks and see if it comes back. This could simply be a weeping seal for the clutch cylinder which is not a cylinder but a pressurised sleeve or it may be a smnall seal where the shaft goes from the crank to the bell housing either way it is thankfully not an expensive repair. It may well improve with some driving.
I had a similar problem although mne was a couple of drips on the floor, I cleaned it up and used the car and had no further problem.

 

+1...the "Ferrari" is on the clutch pumpkin, so it may very well be seals in the clutch.
My car had a lot of small leaks on the transaxle when I had the major service done a three years ago. They pulled it from the engine and resealed everything. Dry as a bone now.
