Looks like all three seals - GN-02186, GN-02192, and GN-02233 can be replaced with disturbing the clearances.
The axle flange seals appear the same as Miura.
Has anyone resealed a 2+2 or Islero diff lately that can share some insight?

    It's funny what happened...

The factory gave Ricko the info on 118, which had round arches at the time, as it sat in the factory museum.

    Then Ricko made the model.

Then as Ricko was making the model, the factory restored 118, and found out that the round rear arches were "owner modified" (they found the original bent-over sheet metal inside the fender) and changed it back to the squared-off arches.

So the factory kind of left Ricko out to dry.

I'd say the model is correct, as per the owner-modified #118, which has been featured a number of times with the round rear arches.

    It's a tricky one :)

Fred, Jack, John, and all - these are the trunk panel knobs for a GT400 2+2. I have one and need 5 more, but more important ...i need the details around the grommet in trunk panels please! The three largest, quickly removable trunk panel sides appear to be masonite maybe 4mm thick with speckled grey carpet glue to them, vinyl edging , leather pull tab, grommets pressed in to match these knobs? There are 6 welded studs (5x0,8) around the trunk upper edges to utilize the 6 knobs shown dimensioned below. I see remnants of hinges at the battery panel (right side). Was the battery panel not removable only hinged? The trunk floor appears black vinyl covered? The tire round cover is it masonite as well? Need details please.
    Thanks
    Craig

The rear fuel trap & rear window are definitively 400 GT 2+2, may be it is just a logo mistake ?

It looks like a regular 400GT 2+2 to me, with the wrong badge.

It's missing the chrome rings around the headlights, and the side markers are wrong.

But it's jacked up just like a 400GT 2+2 (they did that to keep the ride level with 2 passengers in the rear -- as far as I can tell) and the rear window and single gas filler is a dead giveaway.

    400GT 2+2.

Single wiper car, just like mine, which doesn't mean anything because mine was a Kaplin car (NYC)

Just another nice 400GT 2+2 with a bunch of things wrong with it! :)

Chrome rings and side markers are easily fixed but what surprises me is that it seems to be an one finger lowbody car. That could of course have been fixed as well, the wheel arches look a bit odd, they are missing the curved angles behind the wheels. Interesting to know the vin#.

    Happy New Year!

...I'm also noticing the front fender arch, to be a low one as I already demonstrated in another previous post... so this fact is linked to 350 GT. What a confusing or a mix of 350 & 400... yes which VIN # is it ?

Could it be a 400GT 2+2 prototype based on a 350GT? Looks like it has Barcelona license plate

I will not say a prototype... as it could be also a wrecked 400 GT 2+2 repaired with 350 front fenders... or it could be the missing link in between 350 to 400... definitively its VIN will be very helpfull

As far as the front wheel arches are concerned, I think maybe they just modified them, maybe smoothed them out, creating a larger arch, and less room at the top.

To me the body is clearly 400GT 2+2, it has the "fullness" of a 2+2, and not the "flatness" of a 350.

    that's my opinion, fwiw! :)
