Yeah same here. I have heard videos though. There about three that are still raced at Ferrari events around the world. Hopefully I will catch one some day.

It is no more synonymous with F1, as discerning people know it, than is the German national anthem. For many it is synonymous with the end of a grand sporting tradition; with the Marketers and Marketeers wresting control of the sport from the sportsmen and manufacturers that made it the global sensation that it was. The psychology of your fixation is, fittingly, simple enough, the impediments to enlightenment are yours alone to resolve and master.
