Yeah same here. I have heard videos though. There about three that are still raced at Ferrari events around the world. Hopefully I will catch one some day.
Wow, indeed... You presume to disparage another's intellect while cementing your thesis in generalization from the specific. We get it: You, clearly, associate the V10 with your transition through puberty, but then you falsely assume your experience is universal. Some with greater experience than yours, or minds more elastic, have already indicated the paucity of your "logic": The V10-era is but an anomaly, that sound but the drone of drunken vuvuzelas compared to the Otto-cycle Philharmonic that preceded it for some 45-odd years before The Great Dumb-Down. It is no more synonymous with F1, as discerning people know it, than is the German national anthem. For many it is synonymous with the end of a grand sporting tradition; with the Marketers and Marketeers wresting control of the sport from the sportsmen and manufacturers that made it the global sensation that it was. The psychology of your fixation is, fittingly, simple enough, the impediments to enlightenment are yours alone to resolve and master.
Did I mention I think the 412 T2 is the best sounding F1 car ever? Lets stop with the bickering guys, we are all Tifosi here.
HA, did you crash the thesaurus.com servers when you were writing that crap? Give me a break. Oh, and Fernando Alonso is the man.
