I don't know. . . I do think it looks like it rides a little high compared to mine - which is stock, unless the previous owner lowered it.

When I saw my first Ferrari, 1 275 GTB, I fell in love. When the 308 GTB's arrived, the shape, the sound, everything about the car was right. I own #19425 a plastic one and would not trade it for any of the 1990 cars or even a 360. But, a nice 430 with a six speed, that might work?

when we go on a roadtrip my wife occasionally goes with our yellow 308 while I drive the 328. Taking both the sons out makes it into some nice family trips.

Normally she takes quite some nice pictures but this one she worked for quite a while.
She made a paintbrushed version of "her" car

(I put a coffeecup in front only so you could scale the size)

+1. Your new car is beautiful! Enjoy. Were you looking specifically for one like that or did you stumble upon it and get awestruck? :)

I actually stumbled upon it through an online search - have no clue how I got to his ad while searching at 2 am, but somehow found it - and he was only 100 miles away! I was getting ready to close a deal on a mint red/tan '85 Euro car the next day at a local dealer (not sure if I can post their name, but they were so awesome to deal with and lead me the right way in terms of finding a right car - will definitely buy my next car from them).

When I saw this color though, I just had to have it. I liked the fact that this was more of a "driver" car in terms of condition (it has some dings/scratches) - just didn't want to deal with the hassles of keeping a mint car mint all the time when what I really want to do is just enjoy driving it.

I'm in the Fort Lauderdale area, car was from Naples. Left Chicago 8 years ago for this Paradise, now I have the car to drive in it year round - and winters here are the best!

Very cool... beautiful color and it looks close enough to mint for me! Can I ask what dealer had the Euro car? You can post names here. Thanks.

The dealer with the '85 Euro 308 QV was Motorcar Gallery in Fort Lauderdale. I was dealing with Tom - he's a class act guy. He seriously looks at your needs and won't just sell you a car to sell you a car. He was actually trying to steer me away from his car because he felt it had too many miles for what I was looking to do with it. As anxious as I was to buy a car, he kept saying be patient. His car was MINT - had all books, records and the paint was all original and as close to perfect as perfect can be - a super clean car even though it was pushing 70k miles - his car was definitely pampered.

Even though I didn't buy his car, he has helped me out by referring a great local mechanic (Tim Stanford) and has encouraged me to get involved with many of the local Ferrari happenings. No doubt I will buy my next car from him - hard to find dealers who treat and help you this way - I can only imagine how he'd treat me had I bought a car from him!
