Renato- I just talked to Duram this weekend and he says the software for the 360 is completed and he is just waiting for some hardware to be finished and the package should be ready to go. The 430 is coming along, too, but requires a bit more work. Fall release for the 360 still looks good. Taz Terry Phillips
Renato- Some time next year. The good news is a lot of the code is common between the cars, so the later packages take less time to develop. Taz Terry Phillips
Hi Terry...sorry to post this here but what about the 355? Will it read F1 and ABS and will it cover both OBDI and OBDII?
Bruce- Affirmative, Duram does intend to do a 348/355 tool as well and it will perform all the SD1 and SD2 functions. Not as complicated as a 360 or 575M, so will be less expensive. Taz Terry Phillips
I went to the website you posted and didn't see anything. Any expected release date for 355 version? Approx. cost of this system?
Bruce- Nothing on the website because they have nothing to sell right now. The 348/355 package should be ready next year and will cost less than $1500, according to Duram. I think Duram will do something for FChat when his 360 package is ready. Would not surprise me to see him become a sponsor. Taz Terry Phillips
I have one for our Cayenne. Fantastic product. When the day comes to get a Ferrari, purchasing one of these for the car should be considered obligatory for anyone who plans to do maintenance themselves.
Talked with Duram via e-mail yesterday and the 360 software is complete, the F430 mostly complete, and the 550/575M is coming along nicely. They are still working on the hardware portion to make it easier to use and to look like a product that goes with a Ferrari. This after inputs from their Beta testers. There will also be compatibility with the IPhone and IPad when the packages are released via a Bluetooth capability. Looking forward to getting my hands on one. Taz Terry Phillips
Very very interesting Terry. Let us know of any progress ... Oh and BTW ... I wish you an happy new year !
I too used this on my Turbo, and it worked very well with the later development(I think it was 6.0), so I expect for the Ferrari it will be just as good. Is there an ETA yet? justin
Justin- Taking a little longer than anticipated due to a redesign of the case and interface plus IPad/IPhone interface. 360 due out soon, 430 next, then 575/550. Taz Terry Phillips
Duram sent me some images of the new OBD interface and the software was completely redone to make it compatible with the I-phone/pad, but have heard nothing recently. Taz Terry Phillips
I happen to be in contact with them last week over the kit for my P-car and asked them for an update on the 360 one. They said: "We are working on a tool for Ferrari. We do not yet have a release date set, but it is expected some time later this year." Lee
