Once a year I attempt to find this part used.

Item 29 on the attached diagram.

It's the air injection hose. You can't buy it new but if you can it's like $700

So every year I hope that someone is parting out an engine or has crashed a car. I am looking for the air injection hose, P/N 147360.

New or used. I "lost" one two years ago when my check valve failed and melted the sucker.

    Please let me know.

    Merry Christmas.

Is there some reason why this cannot be fabricated? It really isn't that complicated of a part. Did you call GT Car Parts in Phoenix for used? Also T.Rutlands.

Unless you're striving for 100% originality, I can't think of any reason why you couldn't fabricate one of these for less than $25 in parts. It's just a friggin' air hose, nothing special about it.

Have you tried Eurospares in the UK, they part out a few F cars?

I've tried Rutlands and GT cars.

Yes, you can "fabricate" it using clamps and short pieces of rubber and it looks like ****.

I have done this the last two years to pass annual emissions test.

I wish I could find a shop that would make me that hose. It's a L shaped piece molded into a T shaped piece and then an additional hose. I just don't have the equipment.

This is my personal piece of unobtanium...

Within about a month or less of installing new check valves on his car one went bad and melted the hose.
It doesn't look very good with a fabricated hose and OE is NLA.

My parts house now thinks I am unreasonable for insisting on Delco brand valves.

Kai call Dave and tell him to get you the hose if he has it and send me the bill.

I forgot about the thread, sorry about that. Pushed a few aside last week looking for race engine parts. All I need is an address, no billing required for Brian
