There is no such thing as "mistake".

I have both 458 and Turbo S and they are both different cars. Overall aspect of the car, 458 is better. Daily drivability would be better with the Turbo S. I love the way the 458 handles. But I love the way the Turbo S accelerates at low RPMs with AWD...

They are just different. I wanted to have both and that's why I bought them both because didn't want to sacrifice either of them... Greedy...

Sorry, but hope you can understand. I "also" own a 458 and I'm writing the stories about Turbo S "with" the direct comparison with the 458 so it DOES relate to 458.

If it does not have to do anything with 458, then yes you are right. But I'm writing about 458 as well as the Turbo S.

    I finally got the 2011 911 Turbo S.

I ordered in August, 2010 and the car got here end of December and I got the delivery on 1/4/2011 TUE... Finally!!!

This has been my longest wait in my car purchasing history. Never waited for something this long but it's worth the wait.

I am quite picky when it comes to options.

The reason I ordered it was because from Porsche factory, most cars come with options that I don't need and I don't want; AND they don't come with options that I want!

I opted for the no-cost Sports Bucket seats (2-tone) option that is an expensive option for most other cars. Got the white gauges for the speedometer/tachometer part and Sport Chrono.

Also, got the clear taillights and body-color painted center console. The car is White and the seats are White/Black.

The car wasn't as fast as I thought it would be since I'm already spoiled with the 458 Italia that I got the delivery in August last year. But it's quite good. I think these two cars are about the same in terms of acceleration. Off the line is better with the 911 since it has the AWD and PDK (and "usable" launch control) but on the highway speeds, I think these two cars are neck to neck although I haven't tested them yet.

I will post more writings when I get some more feedback with my new car.

Haha... Yeah... That was me... I usually park way in the back like I did this time. Just this time didn't have the "right spot" so had to "street part" ;-)

Next SAT I will bring my 458... See ya~

    congrats on your new p-car
    i love the color combination!
    especially the white exterior.
    black interiors can get hot in the summer;
did you consider a red interior as an alternative?
any way to get a photo of the side of the car showing the rims?

    Congrats!
    Hope you enjoy it!
    Very quick I gather...
They just recently did a test with the new 911 turbo S vs my own 959. It will appear in Porsche Magazine's Christophorus next month.

I like the red inside color but I wouldn't buy one, though... Too flashy inside.

The rims are Spyder wheels with central locks.
