Having a really difficult time deciding on exterior color for my 458. I think it's between Nero dautona and red metallic with cuio interior. Anyone have pics of red metallic. Any comments on those color selections would be appreciated.

Love the red!!!!!!!!! But......... While shopping for my new car I considered a 360 before I went with my Nero ds 430, the 360 was Rosso Barchetta and was concerned how it would look at night. Does anyone have how that color looks under street lights? I was afraid the red would look pink like it does on my other burgundy colored vehicle at night.

I think that's Titanio. Amazing color that shows off all the lines of the 458. I've not sold on the two tone however. I might wrap the roof, so I can take it off later. What's the name of the red metallic shown above, anyone?

I have been debating titanio vs white. This picture leans me toward tatanio. I am totally down with the two tone roof!

Rossi Fuocco. It's one of the very expensive three layer metallics.

Worth every penny to my eye. And I say that as someone who's rule of thumb is, never buy a Ferrari in red.

Given this choice, I'd personally go for red metallic over Nero Daytona. If you don't want to spend the very high extra amount for 3-layer Rosso Fuoco, you might want to take Rosso Fiorano instead, which is a bit less expensive. Nero Daytona might make the car easier to sell again than red metallic, should this be a consideration to you.

    Ciao,

    Lars T.

Yes, fantastic. But it should have had the dark sills to slim the waist down.

True, about the contrast color with the sport sills working better. Still there was a big discussion before about cost of various options and the combination of expensive paint yet standard wheels on that particular 458. The perception was that European buyers have different tastes not influenced in the same way as say North American buyers as shown by their 'loaded up' Ferrari spending habits.

I just think the dark sills are the first thing that should be on a buyer's options list. The way the dark sills blend with the shadow under the car define the waist and give that light, lithe look.
