Yup, I got the black version for my GF for Christmas (she is a hairstylist). She was in need of a new "pro grade" hair dryer and hinted to me she might like one. Apparently it is getting a lot of press amongst the salon suppliers that stop by their shop...I got a better deal on Amazon.com. If you read the sales literature it comes with, they claim they use motor brushes that will last up to 2000 hours, versus the normal 500 to 600 hours of consumer grade hairdryers. We'll see how it holds up under daily use... I'm not buying all the "nano techology" crap they claim. I was pleasantly surprised it is actually designed and manufactured in Italy...as opposed to China like everything else these days.
So, I see "Must Have" and DKNY - immediately thinking Donna Karen of New York has something for 355's??? Turns out Dave K of New York found a Ferrari engined Hair Dryer. LOL
REALLY? A hair dryer? It's no damn wonder their parts stink these days, they are off building HAIR DRYERS? How would you like to try to defend that marketing decision? Cant buy a fuel system component that will last two years or a gasket that will actually seal but... "We have this exceptional Hair Dryer that blows a lot of hot air"! Brilliant, simply Brilliant! Hey Crall, your thoughts and comments?
My wife got it as a gift from a local hair salon, I thought it was a joke at first, Thankfully I am bald and drive a 348, no real need for myself
Just goes to show how far Ferrari will whore itself out. Ferrari hasn't ever had a hand in designing or building an electric motor or fan in a single one of their cars in over 60 years of being in business and now a hairdrier company wants us to believe Ferrari blessed their hairdrier with the magic touch in exchange for selling one more piece of their soul. Sorry but Ferrari just sucks. They should get back to just building cars instead of figuring new ways to whore themselves out. They used to do it pretty well.
Our neighbors next door at the fabrication shop had a Ferrari Wine bottle opener. They brought it over for service as it only lasted one day prior to a failure.
That looks like a pic of the new 348 engine update. Adds 10% bhp to bring the total to 89bhp. Ferrari will soon bring in an updated steering gizmo called power steering.
here here. Truly dissappointing. But what do you expect from a company that has changed from keeping true to the spirit and sport to chasing the almighty dollar, or euro, or whatever. But my ex-gf who had something similar and payed an exorbitante amount for one ceased complaining when I compared her parts list to mine. I guess it's a similar obsession. But leave it to a hairdresser, not to a car manufacturer.....
