Pit strength is pointless, I always have it turned off because of that exact reason. I don't want my driver to pit because he is tired I only what him to pit when he needs tires or fuel.
Congrats How is the quality on it? Better than the Zonda I sent you? My Zonda had PS2 graphics at best...... Edit: Carbon X1? NICE
I have seen the Zonda a few times and didnt buy it. It belong on a PS2 at best... I have been having fun with my F40 and my LFA on sport tires. Opposite lock all the time!!
I've collected all of the Zonda's except the Zonda LM Race Car. I haven't found that one yet. I've always loved the Zonda and I really like now that I can have it in different colors. Right now have 6 in my garage. I really hope that PD makes premium version of them in the future. I have a blue Zonda C12, 1 red and 1 black C12S, 1 silver and 1 black C12S 7.3, and a red Zonda R.
I am in the middle of my 1st 24-hr race in B-Spec, at the Sarthe in the X-1. I tuned in this morning to find them driving at night, and in the rain. Also, my boys were 65 laps ahead of everyone else. Heck, they could pit, and my 3 B-Spec drivers could have dinner together, and rejoin the race in the lead!
I started my first 24-hr race at Le Mans as well. It won't be done until 7am tomorrow morning. It's really too bad that B-spec can't run in the background so you could still A-spec race.
Ok I now take everything bad i said about this game back... it is brilliant... however I am stuck ... I'm on level 27, but have still not won the Classic Cars event in the extreem series... any help there - what car do you use? has to be 1979 or older??? I have used a boxer with all tunning options - nothing place 5th, Cobra with all tuning options... ugg... not even close Countach ... no good What????? Anyone have a P4 or GT40 and or Chapparal? I can borrow? Screen name Nouvalari Thanks for any help!!! Cheers! Tom
The one that finally did it for me was the Toyota 7 Race Car that you win from the "Like the Wind" event (IIRC).
I need to get playing again, it's been a few days and I haven't had any spare time. I've been focusing on the B-Spec Series more now.
I need to check on my B-spec drivers when I get home and see how they are doing. They're 10 hours into the 24 hours of Le Mans.
Hi all new in here, didn't see this forum before name is Danny. Anyways I just hit level 25 and have been having a real time trying to beat the Formula Gran Turismo championship until I found these specs someone posted on a gaming forum they work really well, only changes I make is toe to increase turn in a little like I like it. I've been running them with 1 traction control and 2 abs and they work wonderfully. Thought I would share. They work very well both a and b spec. Race 1 Front Downforce - 70 Rear Downforce - 90 Front Breaks - 4 Rear Breaks - 1 Front Ride Height - 5 Rear Ride Height - 5 Transmission/ Top Speed - 261MPH Spring Rate Front - 17.5 Spring Rate Rear - 17.5 Extension Dampers Front - 8 Extension Dampers Rear - 8 Compression Dampers Front - 6 Compression Dampers Rear - 6 You will gain most of your positions towards the end of the straight, while maintaining a solid pace through the bends. It should take you about 4-8 laps to take first place. Race 2 Front Downforce - 70 Rear Downforce - 90 Front Breaks - 4 Rear Breaks - 1 Front Ride Height - 5 Rear Ride Height - 5 Transmission/ Top Speed - 249MPH Spring Rate Front - 17.5 Spring Rate Rear - 17.5 Extension Dampers Front - 8 Extension Dampers Rear - 8 Compression Dampers Front - 6 Compression Dampers Rear - 6 Again you will gain most of your positions towards the end of the straight, while maintaining a solid pace through the bends. You will hit the rev limit just before the end of the straight. It should take you about 4-8 laps to take first place. Race 3 Front Downforce - 70 Rear Downforce - 90 Front Breaks - 7 Rear Breaks - 2 Front Ride Height - -10 Rear Ride Height - -10 Transmission/ Top Speed - 199MPH Spring Rate Front - 18.5 Spring Rate Rear - 18.5 Extension Dampers Front - 8 Extension Dampers Rear - 8 Compression Dampers Front - 6 Compression Dampers Rear - 6 Wow, this one is a ball ache, but with such a low gear ratio you will overtake on the short straights and through the tight corners. I had 3rd on lap 2, but first place didnt come till i was on lap 7 but then run away with it for the rest of the race. I also upped the breaks for this race. Twice in testing, the AI spun out and caused a pile up, which can be a bit of a nightmare to come back from, but its still possible. Race 4 Front Downforce - 70 Rear Downforce - 90 Front Breaks - 7 Rear Breaks - 2 Front Ride Height - -10 Rear Ride Height - -10 Transmission/ Top Speed - 236MPH Spring Rate Front - 18.5 Spring Rate Rear - 18.5 Extension Dampers Front - 8 Extension Dampers Rear - 8 Compression Dampers Front - 6 Compression Dampers Rear - 6 This one is childs play. I used the same setup as race 3 but upped the top speed. I pushed my guy too hard on lap 1 and he spun off 3 times. but he took first again before the end of lap 2. Simples Race 5 Front Downforce - 70 Rear Downforce - 90 Front Breaks - 3 Rear Breaks - 1 Front Ride Height - -10 Rear Ride Height - -10 Transmission/ Top Speed - 249MPH Spring Rate Front - 18.5 Spring Rate Rear - 18.5 Extension Dampers Front - 8 Extension Dampers Rear - 8 Compression Dampers Front - 6 Compression Dampers Rear - 6 Another easy race, you can have first place within 2 laps, there are loads of good straights to take places on this race. Race 6 Front Downforce - 70 Rear Downforce - 90 Front Breaks - 3 Rear Breaks - 1 Front Ride Height - -10 Rear Ride Height - -10 Transmission/ Top Speed - 249MPH Spring Rate Front - 18.5 Spring Rate Rear - 18.5 Extension Dampers Front - 8 Extension Dampers Rear - 8 Compression Dampers Front - 6 Compression Dampers Rear - 6 Exact same setup as before, you will push your way to the front in no time at all.
Well, I completed my first B-spec 24 hour race and wow that was long! I was having withdrawals from not being able to use my PS3 when I got home last night. What is aggravating is I didn't even level up after completing the event and I would need to race at least a dozen or more 24 hour races to reach level 40. I can't even imaging doing this in A-spec.
Yes..it's ridiculous. At least they should let us quit and save in race...or let B spec take over our A spec race. How do they expect us to run a 24h solo?? Pause the PS3 everytime you have to take car of ...your life??
The thing is, 24hr races are never run back to back or with a single driver. The 24hrs of Le Mans only happens one every year. But we are expected to run it solo a dozen times to unlock the next event.
Yeah. it was quite disturbing to come home and find that upon completing the 1st 24hr event, my rating did not go up at all. It will take quite a while to get from 35 to the 40 that is required for the final event. I think I will run the 9hr race over and over again until I hit 40, since at least I can get in there in between races and play. I ran it last night overnight, and rating did go up to 36 when I checked in this morning. I learned that there is a cap of $20 million that you are able to accumulate. Since I was approaching that, I decided to go on a wild spending spree! I bought just about all of the street cars I've wanted.
