targa florio 66 0844 bandini a lovely pic. Yes, fantastic. I would love to sit down with a copy of Ferrari in Camera some day. George
Tony Adriaenssen (Corsa Research) published his latest and very interesting book "Ten days in Sicily" showing a lot of very interesting and unseen before pictures of the 1966 Targa Florio as well as of the 1966 GP of Syracuse. A book of same quality of printing and lay out as his previous "Week End Heroes". Tony's next book will be dedicated to the "pre-plastic" years of Porsche more or less up to 1963, based on images of the 356 in all its forms, 550 spyders, 1500RS, RSK and RS 60/61showing original photographs, most of them never published before, some taken at some more obscure events, such as 1955 Circuit de Vitesse d'Orleans or the Rallye of Sestrières , the Liege-Rome Liege Marathon de la Route or hillclimbs ...
Thanks to Antoine LeGrand , a true camera artist, for his shot of me at 1961 Tourist Trophy. Can anyone ID the two Ferraris chasing me? Take care, see you all at the meet in Palm Beach - Allen Markelson Image Unavailable, Please Login
