L'idea Ferrari catalog of the exhibit in Milan has tons of the early blueprints in it, if that is the 'drawings' you mean....

I have some good engine drawing cutaways of the 512TR motor that came from Cavallino magazine....

I believe this is referring to the expo that was expanded and sent on later to Berlin. The catelogue for the Berlin exhibit is one of the most extraudinary catelogues ever printed about Ferrari. Though hard to find now, don't miss it if you find it. Don't be fooled. The poster for Berlin is available now for over $250. but it is only the poster. just one man's opinion tongascrew

I read that it is part of the basis for a TV series, 10-part, to be lensed by
Wolfgang Peterson about Ferrari endurance racing but don't recall seeing the book anywhere.

I found this one book listed, have to look at that again if it's still available other than on his website http://www.authorsandartists.com/Tim/books.htm

The book was not especially well reviewed in the press. I have Smale's book on the E-Type and based on that I have decided not to buy his Ferrari book.

Does anybody know if there are any books published on the subject "Ferrari by Michelotto" ?

Would like to have a book regarding their modified F's like the 308GTB/M , 308GT/M but also later models which are (partly) build by Michelotto.

    All help appreciated,

    Maarten

    Hi Maarten
Not one that I'm aware of. But I met an Italian a couple of years ago who said he was working on one, so maybe one day.

Remind us again about a new book on the Targa Floria. Someone went there with their friends and shot some great pictures for the material used in the book?

"Ten Days in Sicily" by Tony Adriaensens and Brian Joscelyne . I just received my copy a few days ago, so I can't give a throught review but the book is beautifully printed and laid out. All of Tony's books are first rate.

    Ciao Nathan,
    I'm still working on it.
There are some "legal problem on replica cars".
At the moment I have 1500 photos with 308 michelotto racing.
    All the best. Miki.

    Hi Miki
Hope you're well. I didn't want to mention who it was - just in case. These 'legal problems' are a real pain when you're writing a book. No one wants to get sued. I wish you all the best with it. Hope it won't be too long, as I'm sure it will be fascinating. Regards,
    Nathan

Sorry for the late response. Thanks for answering my question about the F50 Brochure. I have seen a pattern here. All the cardboard cover versions that you each have came with a small paper stub with a number, same thing for a cardboard version I once had. So far, no one has had a carbon fiber version that included a number, same goes for mine. My theory is that the cardboard version is the limited edition with a number system and the carbon fiber version was not made to be a limited numbered edition but rather a special version given to owners and VIP's as well as special guests of the Ferrari factory along with some extra ones floating around. These were what they called presentation books and were used for those purposes, perhaps with no reason to number those.

This week i recieved the new Le-Mans encyclopedia.

This is really a masterpiece, showing ALL cars which have been entering the 24H since 1923... Even the cars that didn't make the race...

This is THE reference book at this moment to have on this famous race. I'm very happy with it!

Does anyone know of a definitive history for the Targa Florio?

Not really looking for a photo book as such, but more a detailed history book with the odd photo a plus.

    Many thanks
    Matt
