It's also lowered emissions from the outgoing less powerful V12, and can return 18mpg. I'm sorry but the FF just seems to be loaded with technical innovation.

Was also wondering why the official 0-100kph is only 3.7s. For the power, 4WD and dual clutch gearbox involved, that is weak.
Perhaps marketing plays a role in it - cannot officially be faster than 599??

P.S. please spare me comments of irrelevance of 0-100 times as I believe it is interesting

I can't recall Ferrari making such an ugly car in the last 25 years. Awful. Simply awful.

A Ferrari can be cutting-edge, fast, practical, carry four people AND be sexy - look at the 456.
    But this FF is DISGUSTING.
Now I BET it's awesome to drive but this is a shockingly ugly car for an stylistically bankrupt design house.
You used to DESIRE a Ferrari for it's looks, sound, speed and sex. Now it's just speed.

I thought with the 458 (lovely) they were going to start making beautiful cars again. I was wrong.
    Utter failure.

    Problems I see with it.

From the side view the area between the front wheel arch and the door/a pillar is too long they either need to shorten this up or make the hood/fender bluge up more the car looks too thin in this area due to the length between the door and wheel arch.

Front end they need to stop raiding the parts bin for the headlamps and come up with better design.

Rear end is not bad but new tail lamps would have been nice instead of the reused 599 tail lamps.

Too many body lines on the sides.

They clean those things up and it may be ok.

Specs though are very nice performance wise.

Isn't the interior a bit of carryover from the California with 458 steering wheel??

WCH - I know you're a loyal customer and have had many different models, from the vintage to current, from road to track. So, would you lay your money down on the FF ?

Oh no, even the interior looks horrible.

612's will keep their value for a while I think.
