Hello - curious to know your thoughts on the 360 spider 01 and 02.
I have an 08 porsche targa 4s as the DD but considering true open air
    for the weekend.

Given its supercar status, of the 1999-2004, are there years to avoid
and is the 360 series considered reliable (relative to its status among these
    high end machines).

If you were to get a used one, would you get comp and leak down testing
as part of a PPI? In the P community, very common to get PPI with comp/leak down,
not sure if the same attitude in the F- community.

    thanks much.

Certainly doing a search would turn up tons of results on this issue. Start with this link: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=191837

The 360 has been a very reliable car for the most part. I also had lots of Porsches in the past. I think you'll enjoy one very much.

Yes they are generally reliable. Early year cars had more troubles but most will have been "shaken" out by now with failures and warranty repairs and campaign recalls done etc. Yes, get a thorough PPI done to include both compression and leak down if you want to be thorough.
