Just buy a six nine and get it over with :D
I had a regular 750iL of similar vintage and it was likely the worst car I've ever owned. I can't imagine that adding weight and complexity would make things any better.
gotta luv '50s american iron / sedans, several rebuilt examples around these days, especially nice with more modern drivelines and A/C........there was a hornet fs with an LS some months back, otherwise it looked original
And here is what a 635CSi that flunked the Carfax test looks like. Next. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nothing yet. Should take delivery on a Fiat 500 in the next few weeks, but that doesn't qualify as a barge.
Another car on the radar screen, stared due diligence (again). Original owner, epa and dot paperwork in hand, $24k freshening a few years ago, has minor needs now. More later.
I recently looked hard at a 280SE 3.5 coupe. Did ya know the wood is all one piece? I passed on it because the first thing the owner did was open the sunroof. It seems the A/C does a really great job, of cooling your right knee. It gets hot in Texas. Dale
is this enough of a barge? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-BMW-740I-SPORT-BLK-BLK-NAV-LOADED-RARE-4YRWARANTYINC-/380341135836?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item588e1929dc#ht_8810wt_1167 2001 BMW 740i or this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1966-JAGUAR-MK-X-EXTREMELY-RARE-A-C-IMMACULATE-/200614247811?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2eb58a7d83#ht_28915wt_1167 1966 Jaguar MK X
I still think this would be awesome : http://www.anamera.com/en/detail/car/127578/index.html?no_cache=1&ret=63
It would, but I'm starting to realize that I am happy with the current size and composition of the fleet as it stands...
Thoughts on taking this turn instead? No overlap with anything currently in the fleet... http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/storeproduct732.aspx
