The tires look like Yokohamas? If so, you should check the date code and make sure they are less than 6 yrs old if you plan to drive on them. Just a heads up.

Thank you guys, still a bit of snow and gravel here on the roads in Colorado but can't wait to drive it, the leather bucket seats and the Borla ss exhaust are my favorite things. The car had an engine out service 2 years ago by previous owner ( $17k and I have a big file with all receipts and DP conversion paperwork from Germany ) . This dp is a Euro model with zzz on vin. I'm glad you guys approve, can't wait for nice weather and Cars and Coffee events :)

There is more snow coming our way, but I will get it out one sunny dry weekend, and write about the driving experience in detail.

A video from Design & Plastick and Josef Zirkelbachs production in Sweden. The segment is from a mid-80's Swedish TV series called "Trafikmagasinet" (The TrafficMagazine). It was made when DP Zirkelbach was starting out. The company used this location for at least 5 years before moving to a nicer facilities together with Porsche Sweden.

So Gumbajv, I checked the tire date and it say 1995.. after a bit of research I had a hard time finding the same tire size for these period correct wheels. Do you guys have any tips for me?

Mine Yokos were also 10 yr. old new tires. Most tire manufactures state you shouldn't use tires older than 6 yrs.
Here is a link to a tire shop in the U.K. that sells them. They are very scarce in the U.S. http://www.matramagic.co.uk/page25/page25.html#ecwid:category=165159&mode=product&product=370740.

I run Michelin TB15's, 295/40/15's on 11x15 rear, and 215/55/15 on 8x15 fronts. A 335/35/15 will also fit the 11" rim. The Michelins are quite a bid lighter than the Yokos.

Summit Racing now carries them, and sells them cheaper than Coker tire.

Pirelli PZero come in a 335/35/15, the matching 225/50/15 availability seems to be an on/off thing with them. They were discontinued for a while, now I see them listed again on Tire Rack. If your thinking of going that way, I would at least order the 225's pretty quick.

The Pirelli's are 345's, not 335's and have shot up in price about $80.00 ea. What ever tire you look at be sure your sitting down.

I'll get on it Monday, I just love the original wheels so much, it's worth the hassle finding the right tires, I'm sure you can tell mine are 9"*15 front and 11"*15 rear
